    If you’re looking for a proper spa experience or a genuine five-star hotel, this property will not meet those expectations. The room we received was noticeably noisy and below the standard expected for this category, and the overall service didn’t match the rating. The hotel is clean, breakfast is very good, and the massage was truly excellent, but the stay as a whole doesn’t deliver a five-star experience. Guests who are familiar with real 5★ standards will likely be disappointed.

    The location is ok. When you arrive by car this is one of the few hotels with own parking - convenient and for free. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. It is very quick and easy to reach downtown. We had a room to the back. There is no view but it is rather quiet - even if you sleep with open windows. This is not the case if you book a room to the front because of the very busy road. I doubt that you have sea views in the front, because of the other building in front.The room had a good size and was ok in terms of furniture, some dents and scratches all around. However, when it comes to my top two criteria, the room scored full points! The very large bed is extremely comfortable with good, high quality bed sheets. The bathroom was rather new with a nice walk-in shower, quick hot water and very good water pressure.At breakfast you have a good choice. You can order eggs and fresh juice from the menue with no extra charges. It was a good quality breakfast to my standards. We did not use the spa. I just looked at the pool, which looked good and fairly large to me. The opening hours from 4 to 8 pm are not really helping, if you like to work out in the mornings. All in all, the hotel has seen better days. It is no 5 star standard, but we also did not pay a 5 star rate. I think the price for what is offered was fair. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

    This hotel is being renovated. It is in decline and needs significant improvements. As it stands, it is a one or two star hotel. Expectations should be kept to a minimum.Mine is a business trip. Internet speeds are anemic, 9 MB up and 1MB down. Not sufficient for a good video call. Essentially, the infrastructure does not support a business trip. If that is your goal, take a pass on this hotel. If you end up with multiple people trying to do video calls in the hotel at the same time, it will be a disaster.The room itself is in need of painting. The ceiling has a hole in it. The bathroom is renovated, but the shower on/off is so stiff it is hard to get a good grip on it to turn the water off/on. The bed looks big, but in reality it is two single mattresses put together and not especially comfortable. There is no space to hang pants. Shirts are possible to hang. The security box is too small for electronics such as computers. The security box is also unsecured to the wall and can be moved anywhere. It makes theft a breeze with all your valuables in one small easy to carry box.The room comes with no complementary water. Body wash and some lotion is provided, but no shampoo. There is a minibar. Everything in it is priced for profit.The breakfast is continental. They will cook eggs upon request. There are cold cuts, cereals, fruits, and various pastries. I have nut allergies, so much of it is high risk for me to eat. The coffee is good. The view from the breakfast area is the best part of the hotel.The hotel is located 5km from the restaurants and sights of Trieste. It is an isolated location with little to do nearby. Plan on walking or taking a car. Overall, the hotel is poor from a business perspective. I do not recommend coming here. If you are vacationing and want to get away from it all, it may work for you. Just keep your expectations to a minimum. Best to wait 3-5 years for the renovations to finish before booking. Bring your walking shoes. You will need them.

    The beds are good, AC is good. Rooms are clean. It is a bit noisy due to lack of sound isolation in the rooms. Breakfast is good, they have a gym. Parking nearby. Just a decent hotel nothing special but good enough. Wi-Fi also works fine. No issues at all here.

    I don't often give 1 star reviews but there this hotel's representation is so misleading that there is no alternative. At best a 2 star hotel given the lack of ammenities and service. Hotel room was dirty; building materials in the "garden"; no restaurant; awful breakfast. We were meant to have a sea view but we were on a lower floor and could not see the sea (I am not convinced that any rooms have a sea view given the building opposite).
