Think twice before booking

Breakfast was below any expectations.- capsule coffee tasted awful- no warm dishes - very poor choice- syrup water instead of juicesRoom was neat but:- No ventilation so you will get out of fresh air during night- Opening the window was not a good choice either because of street noise and some brumming device behind the window.- Noisy aircon stinking of mold while running

I would never recommend this hotel. I booked a reservation on Expedia 2 days ago. I wanted to book two rooms for the night of September 21. When I put in the dates I saw there were three available rooms on that date. I went to book it and saw the rate was non-refundable, breakfast was not included, and internet was not included, so I went back to recheck the offers to see if this was possible (which it wasn’t). I returned to book the first room and made the reservation. Immediately received confirmation and saw that the booking had changed the dates to May 4. Immediately called Expedia about the booking error. They checked with the hotel who said it was non-refundable, even though it was an obvious online error. Expedia contacted them twice and was finally told they(I) could apply for a waiver but it would take several days. I subsequently heard that the money will not be refunded. How small and inflexible…basically a money grab. Instead of booking two rooms for September 21, and gaming customer satisfaction, they provided abominable service and went for the quick money. It made me wonder about what other ways they stint on service. They may have my money but have left a very bad taste and made me wonder why book a hotel with no option for a refund, no free internet or breakfast option, when there are so many other choices in Trieste that are more central and offer all of these amenities, at comparable cost. Think twice before booking!

Very pleasant small Hotel

The location means that it is away from the town centre and is in a residential area of San Giusto. The breakfast of a selection of home made cakes and fresh fruit makes this something to look forward to. The large bathroom and very good size bedroom are also an added bonus. We only had a small evening snack due to late arroival, but it was very good. Located in a quiet residential area (San Giusto can be reached in a 15' stroll), this hotel offers comfortable rooms refurbished and, above all, a delicious breakfast, with special home made cakes. Not worth it but saved by breakfast

We spend a night here as part of a week long cycle trip to Croatia.The good:+ Big bathroom+Impressive homemade cakes for breakfastThe bad:- carpets could use a good clean- location is not great unless you driveThe ugly:- unhelpful reception. Did not tell us until asked about WiFi password and evening briefing by tour operator- no easily available boiling water. Asked reception as received lukewarm water instead
