    We arrived as a group of 7 friends, couples, at this wonderful hotel Modernist, located in the heart of Thessaloniki. Kind, welcoming, professional, smiling staff and I could go on and on. Clean rooms, rich breakfast on the roof of the hotel which is rich in vegetation. Explanation and help with any question or problem. The staff is always ready to provide 100% service. A pleasure. We are thinking of returning. Hopefully it will be soon. Highly recommended!!     We stayed for three nights at this very well located hotel which offered everything we needed whilst visiting this interesting cityThe staff were helpful and friendly.Breakfasts were high quality with extensive choice.We would stay again and would recommend to anyone.

    We are currently staying at this hotel . We flew into Trieste for two nights before our cruise .Before arrival , any questions we had were swiftly answered . The hotel arranged a transfer from the airport by taxi which all went really smoothly . The receptionists were so friendly and welcoming.The area outside the hotel is clean and safe . The building is beautiful. The room is spotless and the decor has been sympathetically considered.We are staying on a Sunday and Monday so I am not in a position to comment on the level of noise from a lively night in the bar! One thing to mention is that no food is served in the Bistro on a Sunday but there are plenty of other options in close proximity.Generally we stay at well known brand hotels like the Marriott, Anantara , Waldorf etc . This boutique hotel , however, is just lovely and I am so glad we decided to stay here.

    Almost everything about our stay at this hotel deserves praises, with one notable exception: the towels. During our two-night stay, we were provided with two sets of towels that were noticeably thin, worn, and even had small holes. For a hotel of this standard, this was a surprising letdown. On the POSITIVE side, highlights included:- Excellent reception and assistance from Jenifer and Ali at the front desk – friendly, helpful, and efficient.- A beautiful blend of modern decor with original architectural features, creating a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere.- Spacious, modern, and well-maintained room (we stayed in Room 107).- A large, contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower.- High-quality bed linens. And two pillows for each guest.- Fully functional air conditioning.- A very good breakfast.- Flavored water available in the reception area – a thoughtful touch. - Great location, just outside the main tourist area.Areas for IMPROVEMENT:- Upgrade the towels – guests would appreciate newer, softer, and more absorbent options.- Install a dimmable light in the bathroom for nighttime use.- Provide body lotion as part of the bathroom amenities.- Offer a couple of complimentary bottles of water in the room, which is standard in many hotels of this category.

    Rip off in modernist hotel

    I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. For the high price they charge, you would expect a certain level of quality and service, but unfortunately, it falls far short. The rooms are extremely noisy — you can hear everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms, which makes it very difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. To make matters worse, there is absolutely no proper ventilation in the room, leaving the air feeling stuffy and uncomfortable.The service is poor and unprofessional, with staff who seem uninterested in helping guests or resolving issues. On top of that, they hit you with hidden fees that feel like a complete rip-off. It’s clear that they prioritize profit over guest experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or honest stay.
