    We stayed for one night at Hotel Aleramo and had a pleasant stay. Nice, spacious and clean rooms in modern style and a fine bathroom. The staff was friendly and serviceminded. Fine garage. Can be recommended.

    I have stayed at the Aleramo Hotel many times over the past 10 years. So the choice is always an educated choice. The hotel is centrally located and it has nice and spacious room. However, some deatils are now require more attention of the management. The pillows are already old and they are like "tortillas". They are hard and uncomfortable. It is high time to change them. Bathrooms are nice and sufficient, but it is time to change the out-dated hair-dryers mounted on the walls of bathrooms. Other than that - no complains.

    We came to Asti for the food and wine festival and this hotel is steps away from the Palio Palazzo where the event is held. Walter at the front desk was very helpful and communicated in English. Breakfast was very good with quality ingredients and lovely fresh fruit in season. There is a selection of meats and cheeses and they will also cook an omelette or eggs for you. Would definitely stay here again.

    A party of four. We were there last year during the truffle season too. On the pricey side when ordering truffles. Eggs with truffles are served at the price of €50 instead of €30 compared to the restaurant next door! The dish comes to your table with truffles already grated on the food. My friend ended up taking a battuta with truffles (€50) to satisfy a craving and the rest of the table ordered regional dishes which were overall good. Service is nice and friendly, good servings.

    Hotel Aleramo is a small hotel with a very good location in the center of Asti. The rooms are small and come equipped with an efficient (but rather loud) air conditioning/heating system (the A/C is worth noting because not all Italian hotels have it but Asti can get very hot in the summer). This is a small hotel in all senses. The bathroom is very small but well-equipped though you'll have a hard time bending over in the shower. The elevator can hold two guests with luggage in a pinch, but there is just one car and it's very slow. Wifi is erratic and very slow - a major drawback for a hotel hoping to attract business travelers. The staff is very nice and reasonably fluent in English. A small breakfast buffet is included with the rooms and, providing you get to it before 10 it provides a good start to the day.
