Worst experience ever from an hotel in more than 20 years

    rating07 Jan 2025

Worst hotel ever. Infiltration in the rooms, poor maintenance of the hotel, elevator broken, poorly maintenance. Staff almost rude. In the same region you can find better accommodation. It start in the facade of the hotel that the illumination is broke.

not much to add from other positive reviews on here - other than currency,The welcome is friendly, location is excellent. Yes the rooms are dated, but the bed was comfy, room was clean, and the shower powerful and hot. I stayed in room 101 (ha) and thought the street noise might be an issue - it wasn't. There were a couple of flickery light bulbs, the window blind didn't stay up and the elevator wasn't working. But none of those minor niggles caused me any concern. The price I paid very very fairly reflected my experience and expectations. Please keep this in mind when booking.

    Summer trip to Turin

    rating06 Aug 2024

Excellent location and super friendly service. The breakfast had a good selection of both sweat and savoury food and the fresh fruit was great. The decor of the hotel could do with a facelift but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and excellent air conditioning. Good value for money for the service and location!

If you're looking for a good value, friendly and centrally located hotel in Turin, Hotel Amadeus would be hard to beat.It is on a quiet street, just a couple of minutes walk from the main square, the Mole Antonelliana and the river. The major sights and plenty of restaurants and shops are all within a short walk.Hotel Amadeus is fantastic value for money. Yes, the decor is dated but our room was clean with a large comfy bed, crisp white sheets ,a powerful shower with lots of hot water, a room safe and air conditioning. A self service breakfast was included .We had booked 3 rooms and they were kind enough to let us check into the 2 that were ready even though we arrived pre-check in time. At the end of our stay, our flight home was cancelled due to industrial action and the staff were fantastic. Despite being busy, they managed to find us rooms at very short notice and even did their best to ensure that when we vacated our original rooms we would be able to move our luggage straight into at least one of the new rooms. They were also very helpful in organising the extra paperwork for our insurance claims. We were very impressed with the level of service they provided and grateful for their help.We would recommend Hotel Amadeus to anyone staying in the beautiful city of Turin and wouldn't hesitate to return.

A lovely small hotel with freindly staff

    rating14 Mar 2023

The location is close to the Mole Antonelliana. Though if you are arriving by train it will take about 20 minutes through busy streets to get to the hotel. Once there, we found the hotel very good. The breakfast was amazing for a three star (continental style) with coffee/tea served at your table.Nicely appointed room, though even in March the room was too warm (we hadn't turned the heating on and A/C appears not to work outside of the summer season). So we had to leave the window open all night and as it's on a busy road there was quite a lot of street/traffic noise. A decent size bathroom which was well appointed.
