4 stars only from the outside. The castle is truly beautiful from the outside, but unfortunately the interiors do not live up to the location. The property appears rather dilapidated and gives the impression of having been renovated cheaply and in a modern style in the 90s, without ever having been updated since then. The cleanliness also deserves more attention.The shower area of the locker rooms is quite degraded, with the presence of mold along the edges of the showers. We did not stay overnight, but both the spa area and the locker rooms would need a renovation, also from an aesthetic point of view: the current style turns out to be rather kitschy.The spa includes a sauna, a Turkish bath, a Kneipp path with walking on stones, and a relaxation area with Tibetan singing bowls. This last experience, unfortunately, was offered to us at the end of the spa circuit, when we were still in our wet swimsuits and a feeling of cold was felt in the room. Consequently, the relaxation was practically nil and, personally, in the following days I had a bad cold.The outdoor area also presents some critical issues. The water in the tubs was visibly dirty and only one of the two was hot, with a maximum capacity of about four people. The outdoor sauna, on the other hand, is nice and scenic but lacks a shower to be able to rinse off after the session: in this way, one went from the sauna to the tub, which is not the best in terms of hygiene.The restaurant is aesthetically very beautiful and enjoys a suggestive view, but the quality of the food was disappointing, despite the generous portions. In particular, the salmon was extremely salty.The couples massage was pleasant, even though during the treatment the towels used to cover the parts of the body not being massaged were cold, rather than heated as one would expect in a facility of this type. Personally, I was cold even during the massage.I cannot judge the value for money because the experience was a gift to me, although looking quickly at the prices, it does not seem like an exactly cheap place. From Cuneo to Montaldo

We went at the beginning of September and it was a unique experience, full of beautiful initiatives at the castle. The spa was excellent, the bar service magnificent, and I am very happy with how we were treated by Ms. Sarah. We will definitely return in the future when we are in the Cuneo area. Nice experience but..

Excellent girl at the reception, kind and prepared, room above expectations, large, comfortable, clean, and fragrant with assistance from the floor lady for some additional requests that we were immediately satisfied with.Breakfast and dinner could be improved, as could the external areas around the pool, but all in all a very pleasant stay. Disappointing weekend

Externally the location is very beautiful, the interior decor does not reflect the rather kitschy exterior style. We purchased a package that included an overnight stay, breakfast, spa access with a spa master, and a couple's massage. We really liked the spa experience, but the dinner and breakfast were of poor quality, with some dishes almost inedible.The cleanliness was fair; in general, everything was poorly maintained.Ugly fake plants scattered everywhere, both outside and inside.
