  AVOID - BED BUG PROBLEM! Irresponsible, disrespectful handling after reporting to management.

  AVOID - BED BUG PROBLEMStayed January 6-9, 2026 in room 232 and 234. Developed 10 bed bug bites on shoulders and neck during my stay.Timeline:- Night 1: No symptoms- Night 2: Itching began- Night 3: Bites fully visible (cluster pattern typical of bed bugs)- After leaving: No new bites (confirming the source)What happened:I reported immediately with photo evidence. Hostel claimed "specialist found nothing" and offered only €33 refund. I had not traveled or stayed anywhere else before this hostel - this was definitively the source.Most concerning: New guests were admitted to room 234 the same morning I left, before any treatment.Management blamed "traveler's bugs" rather than taking responsibility despite clear evidence and timeline.Warning to future guests:- Inspect bed carefully before sleeping- Keep luggage in sealed plastic bags- Check for small brown insects, black dots on sheets, blood spots- Document everything if you get bitten

  BEWARE OF BEDBUGS!

  BEWARE OF BEDBUGS! I stayed here in November 2024 and was bitten by bedbugs. If you read other reviews, you'll see they've had this problem going back quite a while. They sent me a generic template email saying how bedbugs are a global problem and they took no accountability or indication that they'll close the room, fumigate, or do anything else. Staff Combo, Altro at Combo, Torino, responded to this review Dear Giuseppe,as already explained, the problem of traveler's bugs is a problem that is spreading all over the world, and these pests are carried by the traverlers, as the name say. The safety of our Guests is really a paramount to us and we do our best to contrast the issue.Best regards,Bruno

  Sleep with bedbugs. Very nice place unfortunately room infested with bedbugs. The staff is aware but nothing serious is done. They change your bed in the same room and say it's milking but nothing changes. Itching and stings every night. A real paradise for bedbugs

  I stayed here in early June 2024 in a three bed female dorm (Room 236) and got bed bugs. The staff switched me to another room and gave me money to do laundry (nice of them) , but didn’t seem much surprised when I told them about the issue. BEWARE!! Staff Combo, Altro at Combo, Torino, responded to this review Dear Erin,we would like first of all to thank you for choosing Combo Torino,Regarding your kind request we would like to inform you about the international situation of bed bugs , the problem of bed bugs is a problem that is spreading a all over the world , including EuropeFirst of all we can assure you that we follow the best protocols of prevention and treatment pre- and post-reporting and we really carefully follow what is imposed by the prevention/safety Italian legislation ;We would like to specify for transparency that , as I imagine you know, what is also happening internationally, bedbugs or traveler's bedbugs (since they are carried precisely by travelers) are an exogenous problem, which therefore comes from outside and it has no connection with the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities or places where they go to nest which generally can be hotels, public transportation, educational facilities , hospitals, and in general where there is a major flow of people in and out.Combo

  Comfortable and stylish hostel experience

  Stayed in a clean and stylish four bed ensuite dorm. Big plus that the ensuite had 2 bathrooms in the room. Bed was good and provided a sufficient amount of privacy. Rooms felt modern and efficient. Great storage space. Main minus was the staff who gave a cold and uninterested tone at both the hostel and otherwise. All-in-all a very comfortable hostel experience.
