    Excellent location with parking. End of positives.

    We chose the hotel mainly for its location and parking as we did not want to go into Turin. So far, so good. We had booked a junior suite which was more than big enough but that concludes the positive aspects. The AC was noisier than anything experienced in Asia or Africa 30 years ago and, apart from making a noise, it did nothing - and the weather was seriously hot and humid at the time of our stay.Dinner was mediocre and some of the staff members were less than attentive as evidenced by an attempt to clear our table for dessert before we had even been served our main courses!Breakfast was forgettable.     Disgusting service and room.

    On arriving late I asked if the room had Air/Con as advertised and was told it did have by reception. The room was sweltering. I phoned reception who promised to turn it on. 10 minutes later still not on, phoned and told "open the windows, electrical fault". The receptionist was utterly blatant in his rude manner and not interested. The room was directly over the entrance and so when I did open the window it lit up like a christmas tree as you could not open the window without leaving the curtains wide open. During the night I got bitten either by flies or bugs given how dirty the bed is. As it was raining the noise of the rain landing on the large plastic skylights over the entrance was constant as I had to have the window open. The bathroom was disgusting with mould on the shower surfaces and grime all over the floor. So lie to my face, refuse to move me to a room which is not impractical, insult me and this is what you get - an honest review. With photo's so it cannot be disputed.     Friendly but limited air con in rooms

    Friendly staff but downfall is each room has limited air conditioning. Our first room couldn’t get below 25 but replacement room was cooler. The staff are aware of the air conditioning issue but blame it on location of sensors. Beware that pool is only free @ 6pm other times it costs €10 for morning & €10 for afternoon. francesco spinelli, Albergatore at Rivoli Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for giving us your impressions of your stay, they are important to us and allow us to constantly evaluate our service and improve it where necessary. In fact, unfortunately, this period we had some problems with the air conditioning and the technicians are working right now to get it working properly again. Our swimming pool is a paid service, but in some room types it is included, so we recommend that you choose this room type next time. In the room description on our website it is well indicated which rooms include it.     I wouldn't stay here in summer if I were you

    We are traveling around Italy and I spent a long time looking at places to stay for our family of 3 - that had a pool. This place falsely advertises itself on booking.com as having a pool - but nowhere in the main screens does the listing say that it is charged at a cost of 10 euro per person for each half day! It is hidden in the fine print. This is false advertising and pretty atrocious- and had tainted our stay. Add to that, that the phone does not work - so we have to walk to reception each time we gave a question AND the air con doesn't work properly and sits at 27° in the middle of summer.If I were you - I WOULD NOT STAY HERE.
