  check-in to check-out smoothly done. The reception team was professional, friendly and helpful. Very clean and good breakfast. The Hotel is in a perfect location, just opposite to the Porta Nouva train station and few meters away from the airport bus shuttle. Short walking distance to restaurants, bars and places of interest. I highly recommend the hotel

  On positive side: Great location next to the train station and close to the historical centre and shopping areas. The room was quite big and rather quiet thanks to the double glazed windows.The breakfast was correct, more sweet than salty things.On negative side: There was no coffee or tea making facility in the room. And no hand held shower but water only came from the high located piece.

  My wife and I spent 3 nights at Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour Turin .The hotel is straight across the road from the train station and only a few minutes walk to the old town and attractions and some great chocolate shops.The hotel is very clean and quiet the rooms are a good size with a big bathroom we had room 366 .We had breakfast included in the price .The staff were very professional and helpful.We would definitely stay again

  Myself and a friend stayed for three nights in December. Our rate included breakfast.Pros:-Lobby - helpful, English-speaking staff. -Clean premises. -Free WiFi throughout hotel.-Lobby with check-in desk, extra seating at side. Water dispenser machine. Safety deposit boxes available. -We arrived at 12pm and were allowed to leave our suitcases with Reception.-Two lifts to all floors. -Room 366, spacious ‘Comfort’ room with high ceilings - two single beds. Doorbell. Keycard entry. Two-door cupboard with hanging space and shelves. Suitcase stand. Coat hooks. Tea, cups & kettle, fridge. Wall-mounted Philips TV (English language channels include BBC News). 3 chairs, table. Beds with bedside tables. Telephone. Chandelier! Air-con unit. Views of Giardino Sambuy piazza small park opposite and Porta Nuova, the city’s main railway station. Spacious en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, bidet, basin, 2 plastic stools, hairdryer, heated towel rail, lotions. -Breakfast, 7-10am. First floor. Continental buffet plus eggs & sausage available - excellent food choices. 3x hot drinks machines. Small trays available to carry breakfast items - a great idea. -Relaxation area, Second floor.Cons:-Room - noise from traffic outside. Windows need replacing for noise insulation. I wore earplugs. -Room - no coffee sachets or milk.-Room - no complimentary water, although there’s a free water dispenser in the Lobby. -Room - no safe, although safety deposit boxes available (see Reception Desk).-No bag tag provided if suitcase put in storage. Notes:-The hotel is centrally located in the city and numerous cafes, restaurants, upmarket shops (Via Roma), sites and museums are within walking distance. -Hotel is across the road from Porta Nuova, the city’s main railway station, we went on a train for a day trip direct to Bardonecchia, a mountain town & ski resort in the Italian Alps. The railway station also contains several upmarket shops along with a McDonalds, Starbucks and Five Guys. Porta Nuova underground Metro is down steps in front of the hotel. There are bus stops in front of Porta Nuova - we took buses from here to get to/from Basilica di Superga (change to tram or a second bus at Sassi-Superga).-In Turin we visited Mole Antonelliana (Turin’s most famous landmark, book ahead), Museo Egizio (Egyptian Museum), Piazza Castello (the heart of the city), Turin Cathedral (Shroud of Turin not on display), Basilica di Superga (church on a hill above Turin), Po River and Valentino Park (riverside park). -Turin Tourist Information Center across the road from hotel on Piazza Carlo Felice.-We ate lunch at cafes near the hotel: Roma già Talmone (expensive, tourist trap), Panfé, and Street Coffee. -We ate evening meals at Melomangio (twice).
