  Excellent hotel. A little old fashioned but none the worse for that. Nice garden and a good selection at breakfast. Helpful staff and very convenient for the station.

  I really enjoyed this hotel. It has a grand feel to it and appears to be very well maintained. The check in process was smooth and the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the ornate elevator with the sitting bench inside. Our room was very large with lots of windows and great views. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean, and well equipped. As other reviews have mentioned, the breakfast buffet is outstanding. The breakfast room itself was very nice, food selection was outstanding, and the servers were professional. The hotel is located in central Bolzano in immediately proximity to countless shops and restaurants. It is also only about a five-minute walk to the central rail station. I enjoyed the aesthetics of the lobby bar, it was a good place to unwind. My only nitpick of our entire stay was that service in the bar was underwhelming. It took approximately 15 minutes to order and be served a beer and there clearly was a lack of communication between the server and the bartender. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice if visiting Bolzano.

  I stayed here for a night. The location is great. Especially if you are using the train and want to see old town. It’s old and fancy. Nice views from my room.   A wonderful place in which to spend a few days at Xmas.

  Our first time at the Parkhotel Laurin and it did not disappoint. We were in Bolzano to visit the Christmas markets that the town is so well known for. They did not disappoint and in our opinion at least, one of the best (if not the best) we have visited. Not just in Italy either, the celebrations here match those in more famous cities such as Munich.Hotel Laurin makes for a perfect base. It is only a hundred metres from the train station and only slightly longer to Piazza Walther - the centre of attractions. The hotel is located in a historic building and it manages to combine period charm with all the modern conveniences. Our room lacked for nothing and delivered five nights of blissfully peaceful sleep. All the staff were polite and helpful and the services offered by the hotel - first class.A bonus is the absolutely fabulous restaurant. So good that we ate here twice, during our five night stay. Combine this with the warm and atmospheric bar (complete with historic murals) and you have a hotel where you could happily spend five days and never leave it.We enjoyed our stay so much that we are now actively looking to rebook for the Christmas markets of 2026.
