Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, and a great breakfast. They also have bike storage and were kind enough to store our bikes for two days. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back!

A truly enjoyable stay with unrivalled location, views and relaxed charm. Hosts could not be more helpful and welcoming to make our stay comfortable with a ski lift literally 1 min walk- even in ski boots. Will go back. Our ideal ski hotel

    rating15 Feb 2026

Like many of the guests at the Dufour we are repeat offenders, having stayed there many times over the past 20 years. It is always a delightful; experience- the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are large and pleasant, while the wellness area on the top floor is a wonderful way to restore the tissues after a day's skiing. The food is excellent, with a really nice and varied salad buffet to fill up any gaps. The Punta Jolanda lift is no more than 100 metres from the front door. Emanuela Tosi, Proprietario at Hotel Dufour, responded to this review Thank you so much Mr Rob for your wonderful and loyal review. It truly means a lot to us to welcome you back year after year — over 20 years is something very special, and we are sincerely grateful for your continued trust. We are delighted that you continue to enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel, our rooms, the wellness area and, of course, the cuisine. Your kind words about our team are especially appreciated and will be shared with everyone. And yes, the proximity to the Punta Jolanda lift is something we are very proud of — we’re glad it keeps making your ski days so convenient. We look forward to welcoming you again soon for many more stays together.Warmest regards,Emanuela - Hotel Dufour

    Top alpine experience??

    rating14 Feb 2026

Top experience!Very nice room, good local tyrolean/italian cuisine. 50m to skilift.Nice big SPA/Sauna with jacuzzis to relax in after a day in the mountains, and comfortable social areas in the bar.Service and hospitality is beyond expectations!Gressonney has a very good central location in the SkiMonterosa area and in adverse weather conditions, the closest two chairlifts provide long red/black slopes below the treeline for visibility. Will definately return! Emanuela Tosi, Proprietario at Hotel Dufour, responded to this review Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are truly delighted that you had such a positive experience and that you enjoyed the room, our cuisine, the spa area and the atmosphere of the bar. It is especially rewarding to know that our service and hospitality exceeded your expectations. Our location, so close to the ski lift, is something we are very proud of, and we are glad you appreciated both the convenience and the variety of slopes the Monterosa area offers, even in different weather conditions. We look forward to welcoming you back to Gressoney for another great alpine experience.Warm regards,Hotel Dufour Staff
