The good: 1. Check in was excellent and front desk staff is very friendly - very good! Lavinia is awesome. We had bags and the gentleman behind the front desk went out of his way to help us2. Rooms: very cosy. I don’t think I got the category I booked as the pics on Expedia were different. The room is super clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower is tiny! Literally 2.5 feet by 2.5 feet. Tough for an adult to fit in it. Seriously, if you’re taller than 5’9 and weigh more than 70Kg, you won’t fit it in - literally!3. Food is very good at the restaurant - it’s a family friendly hotel so expect a ton of kids running around. 4. Parking - pay for the covered parking - garage is tight like all European garages, but safe and clean. 5. Noise - no street noise given hotel is on a main road. But my neighbors were loud on their balcony6. Staff: super friendly and always willing to help.

Lovely location but out of date facilities

Very old hotel in a great location. Staff was lovely but the facilities are out of date. No sound isolation at all. We didn’t appreciate dogs being in the restaurant sitting on chairs (step too far). Otherwise some lovely touches added like a gift for a child on arrival, live music, hot chocolate by the entrance.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel over the weekend. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, copious and varied. The room was a bit chilly when we arrived at 4pm and we were informed would only come on at 8pm, which seemed a bit late. We appreciated that the hotel offered rooms where we could stay with our dogs. The room even had a small garden, but right on the main road. We suggest to improve the fencing in that area, as it would provide extra peace of mind for guests with pets to ensure the dogs can’t run away.Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend this hotel to others, and to pet owners only if the hotel encloses the fencing.

Place discriminates between man & women. A lady asked a cork opener, a nice hotel clerk happily opened a bottle red wine for her. 2 hours later, I asked the same. But both the manager and clerk refused. They are saying “you didn’t buy the wine form us”.
