Up a huge hill out of town.

    rating14 Feb 2026

We stayed here for a first family ski trip, 3 small children who had never skied and mum and dad who could. Pros- We had a nice apartment on the 2nd floor, good size, lots of hot water, lovely views and comfy beds. The shuttle was regular down to the gondola (9-10 and 3.30-4.30 daily) and on time and if you were a good standard of skier you could ski out and in (but both onto relatively steep red runs). There is a spa and sauna and the WiFi was available in the apartment which was good. There was also a kids club but we didn’t use it.Cons- it’s pretty far from town up a very steep hill. We didn’t have a car and if it wasn’t for the shuttle we would have been very stuck. You absolutely NEED a car with small children here- we walked it with them twice (without skis) and was a struggle. This made dinner out and a trip to the local shop difficult as there is only 1 taxi in town and it’s 20€ a trip. Probably ok with adults but it’s a real hike. It’s a large block of flats- they are split into two confusing blocks and it took us a couple of days to work it out. The boot room is fine but pretty old and dirty. In summary- would we return? Probably not with small children unless you had a car. Somewhere closer to the gondola or Cretaz region would be better. But decent value for money all things considered.

    Feeling very let down

    rating24 Feb 2024

Very disappointed with this hotel. Family holiday booked 6 months ago and 5 weeks before travelling they have cancelled us with no explanation. And now there is no affordable accommodation available, meaning we will have to stay 4 miles away.

Cervinia is the country of the car and smog you cant stay outside. The snow is covered by smog car are everywere no threes. There are no parking inside if you find a park outside. Nature is distroyed by building and cement . When you arrive orrible buildings in front of you

Clean, comfortable, great staff, outdated, good value

    rating04 Jan 2020

We stayed in a standard 2 bed apartment. Spotlessly clean and enough room for three adults. The furnishings were basic but functional and obviously from the 1980’s. Bathroom was the most tired room, with the third person usually getting a tepid shower only.Special mention must go to the reception staff who were quite brilliant. It’s not exactly ski in/out as the nearest slope access is 300 metres down AND up a very icy road....so difficult in ski boots.A car is a must as it’s a long walk into town, but the indoor car parking is a huge plus.Overall we would probably stay there again....depending on the price.

    At the Matterhorn

    rating29 Jul 2019

At the end of the road in the beautiful Aosta Valley. Takes about 40 min. to drive from the Autostrada exit through curvy mountain roads. Lots of good restaurants nearby. La Bricola, 300 meters away, was particularly good.
