A perfect stay at an amazing resort. Facilities, staff and food were all as good as it gets in a beautiful setting. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful resort, but disappointing service this time
25 Sept 2026
Beautiful resort, but unfortunately not the same experience as our previous stay. The structure is excellent, with beautiful rooms, spa and pools, and the staff are generally very kind and welcoming. However, several service issues made this stay disappointing. At breakfast, our omelets were wrong three times in a row, and we spent around 1.5 hours at the table, much of it waiting for the issue to be resolved. We were told it was due to a computer malfunction. Room service was also disappointing, with poor food quality and, on one occasion, trays and plates with such a strong egg smell that my wife could not eat her meal. Our final massage also ended at least 10 minutes early, which was again attributed to a clock malfunction. A 10% discount was offered, but this did not really compensate for the lost time. What was most frustrating was that the various problems were repeatedly explained as “malfunctions” rather than simply acknowledged as mistakes and handled with a straightforward apology. We also felt that the restaurant food quality had declined since our last visit, enough that we chose another restaurant for our second night (Rendenèr, just down the street and highly recommended).Overall, a beautiful property with very nice staff, but unfortunately the service and food issues made this stay significantly less enjoyable than our previous one. Not sure we'll be back.
