Surrounded by Breathtaking Alpine Nature
13 Aug 2026
We absolutely loved our stay at this Resort! The location and surrounding nature are breathtaking, and the entire hotel has a refined, elegant feel—down to the wonderful scent throughout the property. The highlight was the exceptional staff. The service team's warm attitude was remarkable; they were genuinely eager to help and made us feel cared for throughout our stay. The views, food, spa facilities, and high quality of everything were outstanding. The only small area for improvement would be room size, as having a bit more space in the room would have made the stay perfect. Overall, a phenomenal resort—we truly loved this spot and the beautiful scenery around it!

One if the Best Hotels we have had the privilege of staying at.

This was our first visit to Livigno as a family of three, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the hotel’s communication was exceptional. They were incredibly helpful in guiding us through ski pass options, ski rentals, and even arranging ski school, which made planning our trip so much easier and stress-free.The value for money was outstanding — so much so that we were even able to get our son his own room, which made the stay even more comfortable for all of us.The meals, drinks, and overall facilities were truly world-class. Everything was well thought out and executed to a very high standard. One of the biggest highlights for us was the ski-in, ski-out access, which was perfectly suited to our needs and made our days on the slopes seamless and enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future. lacsalin hotel, Altro at Lac Salin Spa & Mountain Resort, responded to this review Dear JenaG56,What a pleasure to read your experience, especially as a first visit to Livigno with your family. We’re delighted that the support provided before your arrival helped make the planning smoother and more relaxed — from ski passes and rentals to ski school arrangements. Excellent once again

This is our sixth visit to the Lac Salin and yet again it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are so attentive, professional and engaging; the food and drink are excellent; the accommodation is superb. The hotel is ideally placed for skiing and other activities, with only a short stroll to the centre of the village for shops and bars. The Lac Salin must surely be the best hotel in Livigno.Chris and Sue (England) lacsalin hotel, Altro at Lac Salin Spa & Mountain Resort, responded to this review Chris and Sue, thank you for your continued trust and for choosing to return to us for the sixth time.It means a great deal to know that each visit to Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort has lived up to your expectations, from the attentiveness of our team to the quality of the cuisine and the comfort of the accommodation. We are also pleased that you continue to appreciate our location, offering easy access to both the ski area and the village centre.Your words are a strong encouragement for all of us.
