Stayed here for one night after our trip on the Bernina train. Bedroom for 3 people was very basic. Not much room at all and decor was quite depressing.The room was so hot with no air conditioning. We found a fan in the cupboard but it didn’t make much difference. We didn’t get any sleep because of how hot it was in the room.Breakfast was basicLight switches in the bedroom was very old and the one in the bathroom was actually hanging off the wall. We chose the hotel because it was near to the railway station but wouldn’t return.Staff were ok.

We didn’t have great hopes booking Bernina Hotel, this being our stopover between Bernina Express and Gotthard Express trains. To our pleasant surprise the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located right across the Bernina Express train station, with the mainline station on the left.Our Deluxe Room on the second floor had a balcony overlooking the square. It was quite compact but with ample wardrobe space. The bed was very comfortable. The room had no A/C but a powerful fan was provided.Bottled water was supplied in the fridge.There was a tea- making facility as well as a safety box.WiFi signal was good. TV had a variety of foreign-speaking programmes, with some English ones.Bathroom was large with a jacuzzi bathtub. Bar soap was provided.Breakfast was quite standard with a good selection of items.

Stayed for 1 night before boarding the Bernina Express. Ideal location right opposite the station.Beautiful setting, helpful staff & clean functional room.Recommend

Friendly staffs and best location

Best location if you want to stay close to the train station, less than 5 mins walk to the Tirano station. Very convenient to travel. Breakfast is fine, but restaurant in the hotel are good. Room is ok for 3 stars but amenities provide only shampoo/bath, body lotion and hand soap. No facial tissue that made me surprised. Staffs are friendly, good service and helpful.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, being right next to the train station. The person who checked us in couldn’t be bothered. The room was adequate with no air conditioning. Breakfast was basic with no hot options.
