    Overall a poor experience and I wouldn’t return.I’ll start off with some positives- the location was very good, right in the centre but just far enough away to beat the crowds. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the waitress was also very attentive and kind. Rooms were also cleaned daily. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh any of these positives. Firstly, the rooms very VERY outdated- needed painting and serious updating. They were scruffy with paint hanging off the walls in the corners, looking nothing like the pictures advertised- they obviously had not been touched since the update in 2014 and pictures not updated either. The bathroom was also TINY. You couldn’t even sit on the toilet as the bidet was right opposite so had to sit sideways- the shower was also very very small we struggled as two 5 foot 5 people- anybody taller would not have been able to stay here.The rooms were not sound proof at all and the air conditioning didn’t work as advertised. No milk in the room which was odd and the kettle didn’t even fit in the plug so we had to put it on the floor to fit into an appropriate socket. When we asked for some assistance they were rude on messaging and told us we were actually in an upgraded room and we could go back to a more basic room if we wanted. Rudely told air conditioning is not there in March despite it being advertised on the site. We asked for fans as the room was boiling and much hotter than the temperature outside and again told no. Whenever we opened windows for air mosquitos came in by bus load and we left with many bites to our legs and even face meaning we had an awful nights sleep every night. We complained afterwards as well but no response was received from them. If they had apologised and been a bit more helpful during our stay that would have helped but they evidently didn't care about their guests experiences in our opinion.

    We contacted Lara since we could not travel due to a disease verified by a doctor of one of the members of the group. When the room was paid for, Lara offered us the possibility of a partial refund if we canceled our reservation and she resold the room. He lied to us since the room was sold again but he did not fulfill his part. In addition to taking advantage of an exceptional situation, lack of speech. What a shame.

    I had everything planned and due to an illness, certified by a doctor, I could not travel. I contacted the hotel and Lara gave me the only option to return part of the amount of my reservation if she resold the room. The room was resold but Lara did not keep her word. I work in Hospitality, I offered him to save the amount for me later, he didn't want to either. In addition to lack of words, taking advantage of an exceptional situation. Of course I will go to Venice but I will never stay at this hotel and of course I will not recommend it.

    Firstly location and the outside of the hotel was first class. The receptionist though was a let down didn’t really offer any help to our questions and gave the feeling he couldn’t be bothered.The room itself was average but the shower was the smallest shower i have ever come across in all my years of travelling! If you were carrying some extra weight you wouldn’t be able to turn around in the shower and even we had to struggle to have to attempt to have a proper shower! Also no milk in the hotel room which was strange. Overall ok but spoilt by the above.

    Great stay with toddler

    Staff were lovely and made a real effort with our toddler daughter. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location but also tucked away so not too noisy in the evenings. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The room itself could have done with a lick of paint, but provided everything we could need. A cot was all setup for our toddler on arrival
