  Fabulous hotel, excellent location

  Stayed here early April for two nights with my son. Firstly, excellent location, right by Stan Stae water stop. We got the Alilaguna from airport to Stan Stae and hotel is a few feet away. Location is great, quiet and a 10 min walk to Rialto bridge. Donatello greeted us and showed us our room which was aa separate building. Donatello was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous, safe, mini fridge and kettle. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The lady that served us coffee the first morning was so pleasant and even went around the children with lollipops. Overall a fabulous place to stay with excellent location for visiting Venice. I will definitely stay here again.

  This hotel is fantastic, sparkling clean, and has spacious, comfortable rooms. Just a 15-minute walk to the Cathedral, the exceptional service truly made our stay unforgettable. Plus, the delicious and satisfying breakfast was included. The price was very fair, and the relaxed atmosphere added to the charm of the experience.

  Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo gave us exactly what we needed in Venice: homey, cozy, family-driven vibes wrapped in old-world charm. From day one, it didn’t feel like a typical hotel—it felt like staying at a relative’s home for the weekend, where people genuinely want you to be comfortable.We were traveling with a complicated family dynamic, and the staff handled it with so much compassion, patience, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to make sure my 84 year old mother-in-law was comfortable, and that kindness made a real difference in our overall experience.A special thank you to Grace, who was especially warm and thoughtful. She shared her own story about her mother’s experience when she first moved to Italy from the Philippines, and it meant more than I can say. Grace spoke with us daily—real conversations, not small talk—and that consistent warmth made us feel truly at home.And thankfully, while our mother-in-law preferred quiet time in the room, my husband and I were still able to galavant across Venice, soak in the magic of the city, and come back each evening to a place that felt calm, welcoming, and comforting.If you’re looking for a glossy, modern, big-brand hotel, this isn’t that. But if you want character, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality, Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo is a special find—and we would absolutely stay again.

  Fantastic hotel and staff day and night were on hand for all our needs nothing was to much trouble and all done with a smile, WiFi very good in all rooms excellent location to get to tops spots of Venice, big plus restaurant outside the front door was best food I've eaten 😀

  Absolutely amazing service rooms are big with fantastic bathrooms, the front desk guy even helped find places for us, the areas literally in the middle of Venice like a 20 min walk to every major place and quiet part of town away from the thousands of people, there’s a square 2 min walk from the place with tobacco stores atms and a grocery store for any last minute convenience items very very very good hotel
