Perfectly Located and Easy to Recommend

    rating22 May 2026

This was my second stay at Hotel All’Angelo, and I was very happy to return.I had a very nice room, and the location is perfect for me. It is easy to walk to San Marco, San Polo, and Cannaregio, and the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop is nearby, which makes it convenient to reach the other sestieri. The hotel also has its own dock, which is a big advantage if you are taking a water taxi to or from Marco Polo Airport. The trip by water taxi takes only about 30 minutes. There are many restaurants nearby, especially around and north of Campo Santi Filippo e Giacomo, less than five minutes from the hotel.Breakfast offers an excellent variety of choices, and for late sleepers it is good to know that it is served until 10:30 AM. Housekeeping was very good, and the concierges at the front desk were helpful and pleasant.I have stayed in five different places in Venice, and this is my favorite. I hope to return again.

Tutto fantastico - a good choice for your stay in Venice

    rating21 May 2026

A great choice if you want a comfortable and centrally located vacation in Venice. There’s a dock right at the hotel. It’s clean, and the amenities leave nothing to be missing (single room). I travel a lot, but that was the best pillow I’ve ever slept on.The staff are always friendly and attentive. They made sure I got information about that pillow right away. The breakfast is also very extensive. To be honest, I don’t understand the occasionally negative reviews at all. If that’s the case, those people should go into more detail about exactly what was missing. There was a plentiful selection of bread, buns, and toast, coffee options, juices, egg dishes, bacon, sausage, cheese, fruit, jam, yogurt, and so on. Plenty of nicely arranged seating, on several levels, and outside when the weather is nice. Just a 3-minute walk to St. Mark’s Square. They took care of booking the water taxis. A great stay. In short: Tutto fantastico

    Loved this hotel

Brilliant hotel, lovely welcoming staff and right in the heart of Venice, The room was sparkling clean and great facilities, with Prosecco on arrival, a lovely touch. A bonus was the beautiful Artwork on all the walls. I will definitely book here again.

Great location and staff spotlessly clean

    rating10 May 2026

Great location literally a 2 minute walk from St Marks Square also has a waterfront access if you are getting a private boat. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel and bedrooms were spotlessly clean but a bit dated. We had a junior suite which felt very small for 3 people but it was fine as we were out all day. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were good quality. The coffee at breakfast was very good and the rest of breakfast was adequate. The cocktails in the bar were excellent and made with fresh ingredients not pre packed and the service here was great.Hotel offered to arrange a free boat trip to Murano which turned out to be a sales trip for an individual glass factory and we felt very pressured into buying …so definitely go yourself as if you are visiting Murano and Burano the best way is to buy a day pass for the water boats and go into any of the glass showrooms yourself and then head on another boat to Burano. We booked our room through the hotel website and we had to pay the full price up front which we have never had to do before, also the prices varied a lot we paid an extremely high rate as a few weeks later I was looking and we could have booked the largest suite in the hotel for a total for €300 extra for our 3 night stay, this made me feel a bit ripped off as we had paid well over €1300 a night for a very small room so watch the rates !!
