    Anniversary treat of luxury

    This hotel goes above and beyond in every aspect..This is 5 star service and luxury..stayed in room 109 for 5 nights on the 29th march. It was our 10th wedding Anniversary getaway. Greeted by an upgrade and wine and snacks in our room with a sea view..Free use of bikes was a great way to get around the town , a memorable experience..The restaurant was amazing , food was excellent fine ding , had swordfish and octopus. The spa was spotless clean and really high end. We had a couples massage which was also amazing the masseurs were professional and experienced..The house keeping was exceptional too..They even came on a night and gave us a cookie and closeds our curtains..Every attention to detail was made with every thought of your holiday experience..A truly exceptional member of staff was Gianmarco. I think his name was ..at the riverside bar. He honestly could not do enough for us . He is an absolute credit to your team of staff there. We will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel..it is true luxury, just what we needed.     Lovely hotel but lacked service in areas.

    We have just left Almar Jesolo following a four night stay over the Easter weekend.The hotel itself is beautiful - you can see why it is 5*Whilst at the hotel we visited restaurants and bars in the area, our favourites being Bigoleria Pizzeria San Marco, Calosito and Grjll. We also took a day trip to Venice which was an easy 1hr 15m bus ride from the bus station which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The spa at the hotel was nice - it didn’t have the relaxing experience we were hoping for due to U16s and families being in the pool area as well as several of the saunas and steam rooms being ineffective due to lack of temperature. It also wasn’t clear to us what we had access to within our stay - we were only advised we had access to the spa included on day 3. Our room, whilst clean and spacious was directly above where deliveries were made and laundry was collected meaning it was noisy for most of the day, and early in the morning. Whilst the majority of the staff are excellent, I found the breakfast to be chaotic - regularly there was a wait for tables, not due to being full but due to them not being cleared. Similarly, the bar and lunch service was poor - there was a lack of attention, our food took over an hour to arrive without apology. Similarly, the bar service was slow and lacked attention.Overall a lovely hotel which would be a 5* review if service was improved. I wouldn’t return as I felt it lacked the care you would expect from a 5* hotel and the associated cost.
