Location

This city hotel is located just behind St Mark's Square, in the heart of Venice. It is easily reached from the central docks of Riva degli Schiavoni which open out from the Calle delle Rasse alley. This historic street has been known since the mediaeval period for its shops selling lana rassa, a rough wool, used for the covers of the gondolas (felze). The lido of Venice is approximately 3 km from the business hotel, as is the main train station.

    Great Hotel, Friendly Staff and perfect location

    Stayed for a few days. Hotel is spotless and the staff are very helpful and friendly, gave us lots of advice on where to visit and how to get there.The rooms had everything needed and were also spotless, beds were comfortable and the window shutters gave you almost complete darkness.Location is as good as it gets, literally 2 minutes from the airport ferry and 2 minutes to san Marco piazza. There were shops cafe bars restaurants on the door step. The hotel has a lovely sun terrace, great to sit with an ice cream! Lovely restraunt directly opposite

    Amazing location and lovely staff. The rooms were simple and clean with plenty of space. The only downside was how hot the room was but I quickly got used to this. There are stairs up to reception so keep this in mind if you have access needs but there is a lift from reception to the rooms. There is a nice breakfast room and you can buy coffee and water any time. The friendly staff and the amazing location were the main selling points. I would happily recommend this location to friends and family.

    Great location. Room small but clean. Air conditioned! Be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the steep stairs to/from the first floor to the main desk. I asked for assistance but was refused…..the desk attendant said he could ‘pull something!’

    Eager to take your money

    Very disappointing behavior. Booked this hotel thru booking.com and an issue arose the wrong reservation date came when paying but within 5mins of realizing I called the hotel management completely refused to refund the money. Booking.com called the hotel immediately to advise issue and they refused booking.com to refund the money. Management felt good to take our money €534.60 roughly $AU890. He had no compassion to refund within 5 mins of booking error.

    Excellent balcony and terrace with convenient location!

    Our high rating is based on the incredible balcony/ terrace that overlooks tile roofs with a view of the top of the Campanile and St. Mark's. We enjoyed mornings, some afternoons, and evenings enjoying the incredible view and nice breeze. Isabella checked us in and was incredibly helpful with tips and recommendations. All of the employees were also very helpful and friendly to us. The hotel seemed very clean too.The room was nice with a vaulted ceiling and original looking beams, nice bathroom, hairdryer, closet, water kettle for coffee or tea, and mini-fridge. The air condition worked very well in our room. There was also a nice terrace on the lobby level.Breakfast was nice as pictured. Ask for the croissants and cappuccino. It was not included for us but only 10 euros. Would be nice to have air conditioning in the breakfast room. They said they were remodeling for next season.Note the stairs up from the street, no problem for us, but may be for others.The location was also incredible. About 100 yards from the San Zaccharia docks, and very close to St. Mark's.Rooms are small in Europe, stairwells aren't always air-conditioned, but the 3rd floor balcony/terraces make this hotel a winner.
