Location

Located directly beside Venice's famous Lido, this hotel lies just a 15-minute boat trip from St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. Links to the public transport network are situated within walking distance and it is a mere 15 km to Venice airport.

The hotel was built in 1905. The hotel has 80 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Lovely hotel in a nice area of lido. Wonderful customer service. Clean rooms. Breakfast was amazing. Had an amazing spa to get thai massages and suana.

    Wonderful service, beautiful environment, excellent spa, delicious breakfast - a total perfect stay! My daughter and I enjoyed our two night package that included spa treatments and entrance to the sauna. The massages and facial were among the best we ever had.

    The breakfast in this hotel is incredible! It was one of the highlights of our morning. The rooms are of a good size and really well equipped. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much bother and then are always helpful, smiley and say hello / goodbye. For a 5* hotel though there were a few things that surprised me about this place.. 1) the pool drinks service - this was non existent. You had to go into the hotel, to reception and ask if you can order drinks. There seemed to be a bar outside but it wasn’t being used. The staff were also very slow at clearing up the drinks by the pool too. They’d be there for hours. 2) the cleaners.. we totally appreciate they are trying to enhance your stay by ensuring you have clean towels twice a day etc but.. coming in 3 times each day was a little excessive and felt intrusive. They would knock and just come in rather than wait a few seconds to see if someone was in the room. I would say this would be a top end 4* hotel rather than 5*.

    Everything about this hotel is 5 star from the amazing building, the wonderful reception service, the excellent spacious rooms. But the breakfasts are probably the best I have ever had. One thing that stands out is they don't feel the need to charge like a wounded rhino for everything.

    Super breakfast outside or in the beautiful “Orangerie”. Thoughtful renovation with very comfy rooms. The location close to the “water-bus” and the beach is ideal!I came on a business trip, but definitely consider coming back for vacation
