  We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The staff is excellent. The room was comfortable - we had a canal view room. This a a small canal with a bridge outside the window. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from transportation. If you arrive by train with luggage, use a porter to take your luggage as there are 3 bridges between the train station and the hotel. The breakfast buffet is good. There are excellent restaurants within minutes of the hotel. There is a laundry service 3 minutes away which does excellent service.   We visited Italy in April 2026 and made a couple of stops at different places before finally arriving at Avani. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained the property was. The atmosphere was relaxing, the surroundings were stunning, and it was exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for.What truly made the stay memorable, however, was the exceptional level of service from the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and always willing to assist with a smile, making us feel comfortable and valued throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Giovanni at the bar, who was absolutely exceptional. His friendly personality, professionalism, and attention to detail stood out every day. He went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable, and his service added a personal touch that we will genuinely remember.Overall, our stay at Avani was wonderful, and it became one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.   Great stay in Venice!

  Lovely hotel in a cute little neighborhood in Venice. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The included breakfast was very good quality with lots of options. The hotel is quite a distance from the main attractions but we were able to walk everywhere without too much difficulty (and there are always water buses and taxis). We were very comfortable here!
