  We had visited Lido de Jesolo previously and thought it would be a great place to stay because of the beaches and all of the restaurants (This time we were staying B&B rather than All Inclusive). The Baia del Mar (Bay by the sea) has five floors with each having 12 rooms. We had 112 for ten days. (Note, room 12 on each floor is probably the smallest room, study the schematic over the lift to see) If you judge a hotel by it's location, the quality of care, staff attentiveness and friendliness then this is a six star hotel. I loved the breakfasts (bread, cheeses, fruit, olives, omelettes) and as much as you want to eat at no extra cost but strangely you pay for coffee, go figure. Special mentions to Reception staff, Restaurant team and Housekeeping who should all get a massive pay rise. You guys made this holiday for us. (Extra special mention to Housekeeping, you are the best at this and we have stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world! The room (Still 112) maybe small but everything is there and it's good quality. Fresh towels and bedding frequently (That Housekeeping team again!) and lots of hot water and good towels but not the thickest we have known. A TV with mainly Italian channels and a coffee machine but you need to buy pods at reception. Getting a sunlounger is an interesting experience. If it's around the pool and if the hotel is busy then you need to reserve one, at a cost, but if there are lots of loungers available around the pool you can just grab one at no cost? Like many places, the hotel has a block of loungers on the beach (lovely sand and right behind the hotel) at three different price bands. Right by the waters edge is the most expensive to the row furthest from the sea which is cheapest but has the best people watching. For dinner in the evening you have so much choice and most are well priced. We ate most evenings at Kennedy's hotel just a a few yards from Baia del Mare just because we liked their menu and we were treated well by them. There are also shops everywhere (right opposite the hotel is a small supermarket who sell almost everything) and lots of nice boutiques that my wife loved to browse. Most visitors appear to be Italians and some Germans/Austrians and I was surprised that they drove here but when you look at the map it's not that far but only a few Brits but most people speak English so it was never a problem. There are a lot of well behaved kids here and many people had brought their dogs with them but again all well behaved. The holiday went smoothly with only one small hiccup. The day before we were due to be collected by taxi to go to the airport we booked an early morning call for 06:00 which wasn't a computer generated call but by a person. Sadly, that call never happened but we had set alarms on our phones and were well in time for the taxi arriving at 07:15 Overall, the hotel was a calm and very nice experience and we heartily recommend it.

  Great hotel - amazing breakfast and perfect location!

  Rooms - spacious, spotlessly clean, firm mattresses and fresh towels each day. Coffee machine isnt very hot but you can use to make tea / coffee - buy your own from shop opposite & milk for the fridge. Hotel - staff are amazing especially Aniko & Michaela at breakfast and bar service! There was a young man with dark hair also, i cannot remember his name. Breakfast is everything you could ever want - meats, cheeses, salmon, fruit, yoghurts, breads, pastries, fresh crepes. Eggs any way freshly cooked to order and lovely coffees. Freshly baked breads / pastries every morning too - take some sandwich bags with you! Lunch at the hotel was also lovely - burger and chips are excellent quality & portions. Location - right on the beach and Tango beach bar [lovely food and cocktails there]. Plenty of shops and restaurants all around [we stayed a week 17-24th Sept and you could see as the week went on more shops closing up as end of season]. Pool - 2 pools, one large with a seperate bubble pool inside and also a more shallow toddler pool. Lovely loungers and bali beds free of charge and bar open all day with very reasonable prices. Beach - large, clean, transparent waters, golden sands - plenty of showers and outdoor toilet faclities. Free of charge beds when we went also [unknown if this is all year or not]. Getting around - Taxi's are expensive [no bolt or uber exists here]. If your arriving like we did, at 1am - price transfer €130 for a 40min ride. Try and arrive/depart in sociable hours as there are direct busses to Jesolo bus station too and from Marco Polo Airport. Taxi from bus station €15 and only about 7 mins away. Reception will give you direction on bus stops etc - we did our own trip to Venice - local bus to bus station 10 mins - bus to ferry port 45mins - ferry into Venice 30mins and back again - great day out! Tickets can be bought at shop by hotel for all transport and in the bus station. Jesolo main strip is HUGE - shops and bars open until late €15\20 taxi each way takes around 10 mins - but you can get a bus down and back too. If you cannot find a taxi to get back - walk into the nearest hotel reception and they will call one for you no problem. Food out - EVERYTHING IS INCREDIBLE: PASTAS, BREADS, SALADS, RISOTTO & GNOCCHI. You best love italian food coming here lol.We had a fantastic week at the Baia Del Mar. Thank you everyone :)

  Great stay at a lovely hotel

  Hi,This is a lovely hotel and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. The beach is really good and we had some deck chairs near the sea, which was great. The pool, i would say, is medium sized and it was never a problem to get deck chairs there. I suspect that is because of the proximity of the sea. Not all the rooms have a direct sea view, but fortunately we did, which was lovely. The breakfasts are amazing and although we did not have any other meals there, the in-house chef seemed very highly recommended by other guests. Jesolo itself and that area perhaps is relatively quiet in the evening, which was fine for us, but might not be for everyone.   When we arriwed we had some missunderstandings but the owner lady came and fixed everything. She is so professional. The hotel is very clean what is very important for us. Maybe the regular room is not that fancy what we expect but overal everything was great.The stuff is kind especially Aniko. She is a great waitress. The pool area nice and clean what is also very important. Food was good as well.Try to their Tiramisu ??
