    4 Star Hotel With 5 Star Customer Service!!

    If you are looking for an ideal place to call home while exploring the many charms of Venice, look no further than the Hotel Bella Venezia! Magnifico! Our party of 6 ladies ending our journey in Venice received a warm and friendly welcome and treated like royalty! We were so grateful for the porter assistance, restaurant recommendations,(and the escort!) and 5 Star customer service from the entire staff/ team. We hope to see you again! 🫶🏼

    Of all the hotels I have been to in my life this one the only one where I was wished happy birthday while sitting in the lobby and invited by Chiara to have proseco with a friend while watching gondolas in a hidden canal balcony at the back.To continue the surprises, at 6 am Federico were waiting for us with a take away breakfast at the door so we could it on 7 am train to Rome.Service just doesn’t get better than this!

    Disappointing Room Allocation - Not as advertised

    We had long planned to stay at this hotel for sentimental reasons. We booked a long weekend and chose a Deluxe Double Room with a canal view. We were allocated Room 307 on the top floor which bore no resemblance to the Deluxe room we had booked. We were assured by the reception team that it was definitely a deluxe room, and they were full so we could not be moved, so that was that. But the advertised room type we paid for was definitely not what we got. Our room was cold because the heating had been turned off remotely by reception. The room was very small with a very hard bed. The ‘canal view’ was only visible by leaning out of the window and looking vertically straight down all the four floors to see a tiny strip of water. There was no turn down service or guide books as advertised and although the room was clean it was very tired and in need of an upgrade. Feel rather disappointed and disillusioned.

    Our stay in this hotel was wonderful. In no particular order: location was perfect. at most 5 to 7 minutes from the Rialto in one direction and St. Mark's Square in the other. I worried about being able to find it, but the directions on the hotel website were perfect. Great room (with enough space for 2 people to spread out), comfortable bed (I prefer a firm mattress), roomy, well-appointed bathroom. Fabulous! breakfast buffet with a large choice of foods - I looked forward to it every morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel seemed to have been recently renovated very beautifully. I would stay there again if I ever went back to Venice.

    Very good experience. Bed was comfortable & clean. Although only stayed a night & a day, the accommodations were more than expected. Staff were ALL very friendly & helpful. Specially April & Franco who went over & beyond to provide information & a recommended itinerary, despite my short stay.
