Incredible location and beautiful room overlooking St Marks Square

Excellent location, beautiful traditional Venetian style hotel. Our room looked over St Marks square, definitely worth paying extra for a room with a view over the square. The room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean, bed was really comfortable. It had everything you would need for an overnight stay. Breakfast was all you could want, it had a good variety and was always being topped up by staff. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel as the location was amazing, it was spotlessly clean and over looked the square. What more could you want. If I ever go back to beautiful Venice I would definitely stay at this hotel and book room 304.

Fabulous staff!

Luxury Rooms are not that luxury as the website presents. One might be attracted by the view of San Marco Plaza but not all rooms have the view. Some are in the back of the block with the noise of the back street restaurant till 2 am. So be careful what you rent. But after our complaints we were moved to the sister hotel in the back street on the 5th floor with the view of the Venice roofs and the bells of the churches. We were enchanted! Thank you to the staff of the hotel! Amazing job!

Excellent hotel in the heart of in Venice!

Excellent experience!! The location is perfect just in the heart of the most famous historical and cultural attractions of Venice. The room was amazing, comfortable, beautifully decorated with classic venetian style and had big bathroom with bathtub and plenty of amenities. Excellent housekepping service!!The staff is very kind and helped us in everything we needed.Great breakfast too.We'd definitely be back!!

This was the nicest hotel that we stayed in our entire Italian honeymoon. The staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are luxurious, and the bathrooms are just so nice. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were a nice size with a stunning view, plenty of storage space.

No hot water for the duration of the stay.

This was a very nice hotel and I would never stay here again. The rooms were pretty, the staff were nice but there was NO hot water for bathing. None. No shower or bath after a nine hour flight. After the first night we told them and they said they fixed it. But then there was no hot water again the second night. They took off an eight dollar euro tax from our bill. Eight euros in no way made up for two days of vacation without a bath after an international flight. The owner of this hotel can afford a new hot water system. The poor staff knew there was no hot water but had to deal with clients with no hot water. There was also an offer of a "free" tour to Murano glass factory. We took it as we knew we wanted to buy a couple things anyway. However, there was a lot of sketchy behavior with a lot of people involved. It was a well organized system. The woman that worked with us was very pushy asking me what I did for a living and when I gave an honest but general answer she pushed even harder to know who I worked for. Most people involved in this system were pretty rude. We tipped one taxi driver 10 euros just for not being rude but actually pleasant. The worst part is that when we went to pay, there was a lot of pressure to pay in cash. I would never agree to go again even if I wanted to buy something. As well, the breakfast was OK. Not great just OK as it was often crowded and you had to share with several other hotels. Don't stay here. Don't take them up on their offers.
