Do not stay at this hotel

The rooms are very small. The shower is even smaller with no hot water. The bed was just two single mattresses pushed together. The mattresses were also very stiff and felt like sleeping on a box spring. Also don't ever pre pay for the rooms because they wont refund you at all. The service was not good either as no one seemed to care that the stay was not good for us. The only upside was that it was 5 mins from the airport and some good restaurants within walking distance. We Do not recommend this place at all.

Great Hotel with an Excellent Location and Great Prices

We booked a standard double room for two nights and arrived after midnight by taxi from Marco Polo Airport (the fare was €35). Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were very helpful, with special thanks to Franchesko for his excellent service.As part of our loyalty to the Best Western chain, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Superior Room, as well as complimentary breakfast and a minibar.The room was quiet and overlooked the back of the hotel. It was also quite spacious and modern, with a very comfortable bed.The hotel is just a one-minute walk from Mestre train station, making it very convenient for travelling to Venice and other popular destinations such as Vicenza, Padova, Verona, Lake Garda, and Milan. There is also a bus stop about a minute away, with connections to the airport (€12), Lido and other destinations.The area around the hotel might feel a little less comfortable after midnight, with some people occasionally lying on the ground. However, we did not experience any problems or feel seriously unsafe. During the daytime, the area is lively, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby and people around the hotel.Breakfast was quite good, with a good variety of food and juices, including lactose-free yogurt.Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, particularly for its excellent location, convenient transport connections, friendly and professional service, and very reasonable prices. Great location but back to the 80s hotel.

The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from Mestre train station. From here you get the train into Venice for around 1.50 euro. There are some restaurants close by and its in a great location. The hotel has a mixture of rooms. I stopped in a very tired room and it was in need of a serious upgrade. I would say the room was a 2 star. The shower screen was difficult to close. The bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and it felt worn out. Door was damaged.Positives. Free water everyday in room. Safe was free. Curtains didnt close. Food at breakfast was ok. But just ok. Would i stop there again...No as it wasnt a 4 star hotel in my experience. Wonderful overnight stay

Wonderful stay at the Best Western! Spotlessly clean, beds extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. The train station was directly across the road 10 minutes commute to Venice Island. Definitely stay there again should we return to Venice!!
