This Best Western is located near Marco Polo airport. The staff is outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. A great breakfast is included in the price. You can easily walk to nearby restaurants.

No Airport shuttle - clear answer

I read so many confusing comments about the airport shuttle by the BW Titian. They do not have a shuttle. The taxi is between 18€ and 20€ (for about a 3 minute ride) the taxi accepted both cash and card. It is about a 15 min walk along busy roads (big trucks). If you choose that option it I am not sure I would recommend doing it in the dark.The hotel itself is your avg 3 ?. Not perfectly clean, but a good bed close to the airport.

An ideal base for the airport or Venice

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a fabulous 2 weeks in Ortiséi and Cortina.We dropped off our cases and checked in. Then dropped the hire car off at the airport and then walked back. Less than 20mins walk.The reception staff were friendly, we had emailed before re the shuttle bus they advertise on their website. Turns out there is no such thing! They did say they could call a taxi to help.We actually found the number 5 bus worked brilliantly. Download the bus companies free app.We used the bus to get to and from Venice and also caught it early morning to the airport.Couldn't be simpler and dead cheap at €3 each.The room was compact but nice and we had a big bed.Smart TV too, which is just as well as we only found one TV channel in English!A big plus compared to the other two hotels we stayed at, were tea and coffee making facilities.However, one of the two long life milks was out of date and lumps appeared in our tea!Upon asking if we could get more milk, we were advised that due to the hotel trying to be environmentally friendly, the answer was no! We cousk pay for hot milk out of a machine and let it cool apparently ??This is just very daft, so you lose a point for thisTo finish on a positive, the breakfast is served from 4:30 am and only cost €8 and there was a very good selection.Overall, a great base for the airport and for getting to and from Venice. Just sort out your ridiculous milk policy!

This did not look like the photos- very tired hotel without updates, with multiple outlets that didn’t work, poor wifi. They said they would reserve a cab on arrival when I called earlier and on arrival they called but said there weren’t any available to reserve but to just come down 10 minutes early. They advertise shuttle but only use cabs with I’m guessing a small kickback/premium as they charge €20 to go the <1 mile. Not cheap to boot. Wouldn’t recommend. Might as well stay a little further away perhaps as I’m guessing would be similar fare.

BEWARE OF YOUR VALUABLES!!!!! Upon arriving an hour early the hotel staff said we could leave our belongings in a "holding room" until our room was ready while we went to get something to eat. When we returned our backpack and another guests items were stolen. We were told they do not have cameras in this hotel(conveniently) and apparently the door was left open and unlocked. HMMM We filed a police report and contacted the Best Western's insurance company. Our claim was of course denied because we didn't have proof of what items were left there(OF Course). We only lost my husbands medication, chargers and my sons headphones. If I was trying to get over on the insurance company, I would have claimed a lot more money but I am not dishonest. You would have thought for all this trouble the hotel would have removed the charges for the 1 night stay but they didn't. Not even a free breakfast. If you have to leave anything there DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING VALUABLE UNATTENDED. Take it with you.!!!!!!!
