  A gem in the heart of Venice

  This is a fantastic find in ancient Venice. Rooms are large, newly refurbished with modern lighting and air-conditioning that actually works. The decoration is bright, cheerful and themed. We had a mural -yes the entire wall was decorated with a black and white picture of a canal scene with a huge gondolier in a red stripped shirt. Unusually, the hotel has a beautiful gated private courtyard with sculpture and outdoor lighting front of our room. This is very unusual indeed. The hotel is also in the heart of Venice and does not take long to get t Rialto Bridge or the waterbus to the airport. Access to the waterbus station is thankfully a very short walk away. All in all, a great find.

  A Piece of Heaven in Venice

  The reviews of this hotel are highly accurate! What a gem of a hotel in a neighbourhood away from the fray of St. Mark's Square. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed and immaculate. The staff could not have been kinder in assuring our stay was magical. Our room in particular had its own rooftop seating area and garden. For a truly peaceful, magical stay in Venice, this is THE place!!

  Beautiful accommodation

  Beautiful accommodation in a quiet area of Cannaregio. Check in is at the Hotel ca d'oro which is situated less than a 5 minute walk away. We booked a suite and it far exceeded our expectations (room 24). This had a beautiful outdoor veranda which was so quiet. Attention to detail was beautiful with paintings on the walls and modern facilities. Towels and slippers were included as well as rea, coffee and shampoo and shower gel. The accommodation is in easy walking distance to all of the attractions in Venice and some lovely local restaurants.

  Comfortable apartment in a great location

  I had a lovely stay at Ca de la Fonte. My flight was delayed so I didn't manage to check in at the sister hotel until 10pm but there was a lady there waiting for us who took us over to the apartment and showed us how to use the key card. There were a couple of downsides:Unfortunately the first night we couldn't get the air con to work but it turned out the key card just needed removing from the wall and slotting back in again!The mini fridge wasn't cold and when testing the safe it locked and wouldn't reopen (very glad it tested it before putting anything in there..)However the apartment was very comfortable and spacious and the location was perfect. We loved sitting in the courtyard for breakfast each morning and it was a 2 minute stroll to a fruit and veg stall and a Co-Op. The apartment was in a less touristy area so it was lovely passing by the local people on our walks.

  Quaint Hotel

  Nice hotel in Cannaregio Venice. Close to all attractions. Simple and clean. Amazing restaurants and cute Jazz bar close by. You do need to check into another hotel Ca Doro to get your key. Not a big deal. Customer service is great and always available.
