Location

Great stay in Venice

We loved our stay in Venice at Ca Foscolo! We were able to have the balcony apartment overlooking the canal with our 3 teens. The space (2 rooms and 2 bathrooms) with a kitchen was great for our 2 night stay and we even were able to do laundry in our room which was super convenient. We loved opening the huge windows to look outside from the balcony and enjoy the gondolas and boats going by. Would recommend for sure! Great place for a family

We originally booked the cheapest two bedroom unit but were upgraded to a canal view. I can't recommend this hotel enough for families. It's not quite a traditional hotel as the reception is only open until 2 pm but the space is fantastic for families with children. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was very clean. One room had a large bed and the other had 2 twins (we requested it be set up this way before arrival). There were two washrooms, a kitchen, living room and LAUNDRY. The kitchen had a stove top, oven and fridge/freezer. Breakfast was included. We had orange juice, yoghurt, two kinds of cereal, bread (jams, butter and nutella) and some packaged cakes/cookies. This was restocked daily. There was also a nespresso machine with 4 pods a day. It was easy to walk everywhere from this location. We took a private water taxi to the hotel. It was $20 extra because it's on an out of the way canal. At first I thought it was ridiculous. Then we got there and I understood. It was cool to arrive this way and if you can splurge, I recommend it. Overall I would definitely stay here again! This was a beautiful apartment in a great location! The staff is also very kind. They left breakfast food and drinks and treats. The products in the bathroom were top of the line. It couldn't have been nicer! Apartment was fantastic. Great central location and easy check in process. Staff was very friendly and helpful assisting with private transport at checkout. Hotel on the canals of Venice

Rented two rooms for the family…they were absolutely great….clean, comfortable and steeped in Venetian history. So close to everything that you might want to see or do. And the service was top notch.The front desk ordered a water taxi for us to get to the airport. It was a highlight of the visit!….and SO much easier than lugging suitcases over bridges and streets to get to the vapporetto.Only negative was lugging suitcases up 3 flights of stairs but probably needed the exercise 😂.
