  Brilliant break

  We stayed at rialto house for 3 nights. The location was great as you’re really in the heart of the city. The vaporetto stop is right outside too so everything is handy. The room we had was massive- we were in room 501 the only complaints I would have is that firstly the shower cubicle was very small- in a petite person and even I struggled with space in the shower. The other issue we had which I don’t think the hotel can do much about is that the bar near the hotel was extremely noisy on 2 out of our 3 nights into the early hours of the morning which meant we didn’t sleep well. It was a shame as everything else was great- I would still recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in terms of comfort and location.   Kept my money for 8 weeks and cancelled my reservation 2 days before our arrival

  I booked Ca Rialto for my last week in Venice. Paid on 25th July and a week before my arrival with my husband and niece they cancelled my booking. After 7 weeks with my money they told me, Booking.com was going to refund me. A complete nightmare in which one company was sending me to the other. Finally I made a dispute through my credit card.   Fantastic place to stay.

  We had 2 rooms booked. Both rooms are very elegant and stylish in Venice theme. Each room had a mini bar, bathtub, large bathroom, and windows. The rooms were soundproof and right near the Canal, shops, eateries and public ferry at the Rialto stop. We would stay here again if back in Venice.   Watch the bugs don't bite

  We stayed here for 3 nights. Good points were location and WiFi. Easy access to anywhere on foot and right outside a water bus stop for longer trips / airport transfers. WiFi was decent speed and dead easy to log into.Bad points. The room.The room was extremely large and on first inspection clean and well presented. Unfortunately the room failed on the only 2 basic points I ever judge a hotel room on which is a comfy bed and a decent shower.The bed was plain awful. Hard, lumpy, back pain inducing. I have in all honesty slept better when camping. The shower was an absolute shocker. There was zero temperature control and the water switched every few seconds from warm to scalding hot making showering an unpredictable and unpleasant experience. We had someone from the hotel look at it after the first night who messed with it and said it was fine (despite pulling the temperature control knob off on his hand 🤷‍♂️). It got no better.Unfortunately by the end of the 3rd night my wife and I were also both covered in bites from head to toe (something which got progressively worse each morning) so despite the initial cleanliness tick it appears the room is infested with something or other.Maybe we were just very very unlucky with our room but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.   Perfect location

  Absolutely loved this hotel! Would highly recommend. The absolute best location - directly next to the Rialto bridge in the heart of the main part of the city. We could easily walk anywhere from here - along the grand canal or to St Mark’s square or off to the ghetto. Decor is very traditional. Room was huge - massive bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, dressing table and mirror, chairs and a table. Very clean and well kept.
