Quiet mornings just steps from St. Mark's
23 Sept 2026
I still think about waking up around 7am in August, opening the tall window of my room, and looking down into the little stone alley below. St. Mark's Square was barely a two-minute walk away, yet down in this little passage it was dead quiet except for distant church bells ringing across the water. After walking through the stifling afternoon crowds the day before, coming back up in the elevator to such a calm, cool space felt like an extremely perfect relief. The room itself was compact but arranged so smartly that it felt airy, and the morning light bouncing off the renovated walls made it a joy to just sit by the window with a fresh pastry from breakfast before heading out. Definitly staying here again next time I travel alone to Venice.

Great location and very nice stay!

Great stay! Check in was easy, our room was ready by 10AM. They provide breakfast and very affordable over hilton/name brand hotels. This was a last minute booking and so glad we did it. Very nice area and close to everything!

Perfect location. Disappointing room and staff.

We paid upgrade for premium room yet was given a very small room. Was told they had no premium rooms available to move us to. Mould in the bathroom and in the air conditioning unit. When complained we were told all Venice hotels have lots of mould and that it wasn’t a problem. They were dismissive of our problem and told us that it wasn’t their fault that we were in the wrong room. Excellent location and nice view. Hotel easy to find and breakfast nice.

Everything was as expected

The rooms are clean and the staff is kind. Breakfast could have had vegetables, but otherwise there was cheese, ham, eggs, juice, fruit. Location - close to San Marco square. You could leave your luggage both before check-in and after check-out.
