Location

This hotel is located on Lido Island and is only 100 m from the beach and 10 min by public bus from the Vaporetto, from which guests can connect to Venice’s Saint Mark’s Square in 15 min.     Wasted potential.

    This hotel has such potential. We had two rooms, they were spacious, and the air conditioning was great. However it was clear that they hadn’t been tested out for comfort. The only mirror was in the bathroom, the beds were narrow and the mattresses hard. There was no fridge or kettle and the lift did t always work. The pool is much better than advertised, it’s lovely. But despite being told it was open until 7pm and that towels were available there, on the first night at 6:30pm the pool staff very reluctantly let us use the pool. The 2nd night at 6:30pm different staff refused to give us towels and were extremely rude. The food at the poolside bar was decent one night and just awful another night. The pork ribs were inedible, were or served with potatoes as advertised and the waitress tried to charge us for potatoes when we asked for them. Breakfast was decent. Such potential but poorly executed.

    I went in August when i was turned away at the turkey border due to a visa related issue. My phone was stolen at Frankfurt, Germany airport after arriving from Canada. My friends were in Turkey and i had no way to contact them, and i wanted some sun with a pool to refesh after day at beach. Lido island is very easy to use public transportation, and this resort spot is about halfway between the two main beach areas at either end of island. The staff try hard to be helpful. Lorenzo was my guy at front desk, with Stafano running a close 2nd for insight and awareness. At the breakfast buffet, Dania was always greeting with a wave and smile, and memorizes ur favorite habits so she can anticipate, and be ready to make me a fresh double cappocino instead of using the automated machine at buffet. It was nice to chat with these 3 as they all had exceptional english skills, and seemed genuinely interested in ur daily challenges.

    Great experience. Room was clean (204), air conditioning was working well, quiet area, right at main street and close to bus stop (it s in the middle of nowhere but feels nice to walk around very relaxing). Access to lovely outdoor swimming pool (they give you towels) and tennis courts. Breakfast included in price: yoghurts, salami, ham, cheese, croissants, baguette, butter and jam, cereal and milk, biscuits, cakes, fresh juice, coffee, tea (no eggs, bacon or sausages). There is a restaurant too and food was good. Friendly staff but not all speak English.I gave 4* because there was no mini fridge in my room and it s definitely needed especially in summer time to keep drinks cold. Lift is very loud. Also didn’t have my own balcony so it felt like the room was a bit tight. Overall was a great experience and i would stay here again.

    I booked through an online site advised by Tripadvisor. Price seemed OK although far from centre, but very nice pool with pictures of it and its adjacent restaurant - and beach supposedly just a short walk away...Just to double check I went on the Ca' del Moro website, and found the same AND ABSOLUTELY NO INDICATION THAT the pool has been DUG UP for renovation and restaurant not functioning!!!!!I would never have booked without the incitement of the pool and knowledge that there was a restaurant.When I complained, they told me that it was not their fault but the online travel agent who had withheld the information. Despite my informing that I had checked the Hotel website....Absolutely disgusting. I am trying to get somewhere half decent although clearly they are not going to reimburse me anything for my three nights...

    One of the largest hotels of Lido...... 80 plus rooms..... Lots of amenities......Lawn Tennis and Soccer being some....... Swimming pool lots of hotels have .....Beat this.......Well maintained.... Very Very Polite Staff......Away from the maddening crowd n noise of Venice......But not far too....... A perfect Holiday Destination
