This attractive city hotel is located close to the centre and the historic old town of Mestre. Public transport departs from stops located in the hotel's vicinity. Countless restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as scores of shopping venues lie within walking distance of the hotel. Furthermore, the nearest tourist information centre can be found within steps of the hotel. Venice's Marco Polo airport lies a mere 6 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 6 single rooms and 24 double rooms located in a 3-storey main building and an auxiliary building. At this hotel, which includes a lift, guests are warmly welcomed by the multilingual staff (English, German, French). The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Worst hotel in Venice area.

Avoid this hotel if you value sleep, comfort or basic customer service.We booked 3 nights at Club Hotel Mestre and checked out after just 1 because it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.The problems started immediately:- exposed wiring in the room- no functioning air conditioning- bugs in the room- electrics constantly tripping if more than one device was plugged inThe room was unbearably uncomfortable overnight. The pillows felt like cardboard and when we politely asked for additional pillows, staff simply said no.We also asked if it was possible to move rooms due to the issues. Despite seeing what appeared to be empty rooms, we were told the hotel was “full” and no alternatives were offered.What made the experience worse was the complete lack of interest from staff. We raised concerns with three different members of staff during our stay and nobody seemed remotely bothered. When we explained we were checking out early because of the condition of the room, nobody asked why, apologised, or attempted to resolve anything.Thankfully we moved to a different accommodation in Venice which completely saved the trip.

awful place avoid at all costs! staff are extremely rude and refused to give me number or contact for the manager. if you book to stay here you will regret it!I wouldn't let a dog stay here let alone another human.

Club Hotel Mestre is nothing like advertised. The photos and description are highly misleading.The rooms are dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained, with very poor hygiene standards. The entire place feels neglected and uncomfortable.Most staff were unhelpful and rude, with only one receptionist being somewhat decent. Overall service was extremely poor.We left after about 30 minutes of a 7-day stay because it was completely unacceptable to stay there. We have still not received a refund.This feels like a scam targeting tourists. Club Hotel Mestre is an absolute disaster, and we honestly don’t understand how this place can operate as a “hotel.” The reality is completely different from the photos and description online – highly misleading presentation.The rooms are dirty, neglected, and frankly disgusting. Everything is old, worn out, and poorly maintained. It feels like no basic cleaning or maintenance has been done for a very long time. Hygiene standards are extremely poor.The staff, with one exception, were completely awful – unhelpful, uninterested, and in some cases even rude. The only decent and helpful person was one man at the reception; the rest of the staff were terrible and showed zero willingness to resolve anything.We ended up staying there for only about 30 minutes out of the planned 7 days because the place was simply not livable. And what makes it even worse – we still have not received a refund to this day.For the price, this is an absolute joke and feels like a scam targeting tourists. This accommodation has nothing in common with a proper hotel.Never again. We strongly warn everyone to avoid this place completely.
