Located right in the peaceful district of Castello, this hotel is located in the tourist centre of the city, just a 15-minute walk from St. Mark's Square.     Strongly advise against staying – unsafe and misleading

    I strongly advise against staying at Hotel Corte Contarina. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable and made me feel unsafe. The receptionist became aggressive and verbally abusive toward a friend of mine, shouting and using offensive language in front of other guests. The situation was so threatening that I decided to leave the hotel immediately.The room for 3 people (2 separate beds + sofa bed) did not match the confirmed booking. The beds were pushed together, and the extra bed was squeezed into a tiny space, making the room extremely cramped and uncomfortable.The bathroom was nearly unusable – the water temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and the water pressure often dropped to zero. Many other guests have also reported similar issues in reviews.Overall, the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. Between the misleading room, dysfunctional facilities, and aggressive staff, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

    This was a great hotel. 15 minutes walk to St Marks Square. Lovely and clean. Unique features and surrounded by nice reasonably priced restaurants and bars. 5 minutes walk to a water bus. Concierge staff very friendly especially the man doing the night duty.

    Lovely hotel, comfy - absolutely great place to stay after exploring all day!!!Breakfast was nice - the ladies friendly!!The staff were all lovely and friendly - but special thanks needs to be made to Mustafa - who does anything for his guests!!!! And will help in anyway he can!! Absolute legend!!!!

    The hotel is near San Marco, the rooms are ok, clean, but I think they should insist a bit on cleanliness, the breakfast is not very diverse but it has some delicious croissants and the most important thing, I met the staff and Mr. Moustafa is the coolest man! This man made my citybreak wonderful!
