Wow what an amazing hotel near Marco Polo Airport in Venice . The front staff all kind , courteous and helpful. We had an early morning flight before their shuttle started. The arranged a taxi for us. They also did a wake up call with a real person not automated. The restaurant was fast, priced well and had great wait staff. The hotel is set in a walkable town. You can walk to the train stain for Venice. Finally, the room was large and clean plus it had a both a separate shower and tub. The shower had the best water pressure . Excellent hotel!

This hotel is not located close to Venice, however it is a 20 min drive from Venice Marco Polo airport, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service at set times, provided you book in advance to secure a ride. There seems to be private shuttles operators that offer the ride booked by the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is that the train station is situated a 3 min walk behind the building offering quick and easy access to Venice at the cost of approx EUR 5 one way. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection and the bar is open till late at night. Complimentary water and biscuits everyday. Fridge in room and kettle. Big bathroom with shampoo, shower gel, soap and body lotion as well as vanity kit.

My experience at the Crowne Plaza in Quarto d’Altino was extremely disappointing and, quite frankly, disturbing. The hotel is conveniently located directly next to the train station, which makes getting into Venice easy. Unfortunately, the treatment we experienced as Black guests completely overshadowed that convenience.During our stay, I witnessed behavior from the staff that I found blatantly discriminatory and racist. Most disturbing was the treatment of guests in the dining area, where it appeared that Black guests were being deliberately separated from other guests. This was not simply a matter of receiving poor or inattentive service. The way guests were being directed and treated made the racial disparity extremely noticeable.As a Black traveler, there is a significant difference between encountering an employee who is unfriendly and experiencing treatment that makes you feel you are being singled out because of your race. This experience crossed that line for me.Travelers spend their money and choose hotels with the expectation that they will be treated with the same dignity, professionalism, and hospitality as every other paying guest. No one should walk into a hotel dining room and be made to question whether where they are allowed to sit or how they are being treated is determined by the color of their skin.What made the experience even more upsetting was how uncomfortable and unwelcome it made us feel during what should have been an enjoyable trip to Italy. When you are traveling, particularly internationally, your hotel should be one of the places where you feel comfortable and respected. Instead, I found myself paying attention to how we were being treated compared with non-Black guests.I do not make accusations of racism lightly, and I would not write something this serious unless I genuinely believed the treatment warranted it. Based on what I personally witnessed and experienced, I would NOT recommend this hotel to Black travelers. If you are a Black person considering staying here because of the convenient train access to Venice, I strongly suggest considering other accommodations.A hotel can have a great location, comfortable rooms, and convenient transportation, but none of those things compensate for making paying guests feel segregated, discriminated against, or unwelcome because of their race.I would not return to this property. Good rooms and breakfast. With the exception of Reception, the staff was rather surly. One key advantage of this hotel is its location of the rail station to and from Venice is right behind the hotel. Depending upon which train you take, travel time is 20 to 35 minutes with a ticket cost of 4 Euros 5 cents each way. To prevent getting fined, REMEMBER TO VALIDATE THE TICKET AT ANOTHER DIFFERENT MACHINE! Board on Track 3 going and exit the train on Track 2 returning. When exiting the station in Venice, the Grand Canal is right in front. Purchase a one day ticket for 25 Euros or a two day for 35 Euros for the municipal water bus and you're off to St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco).
