overall venice is such a nice place to visit. Granda sweet suites is a place to stay if you want to feel unsafe majority of the time. Firstly it is very hard to get access to as there is no reception you just need to do it all yourself. Took us over an hour to get doors open and find the room. On the last night the main door was broken so we couldn’t even get in to access our room but eventually managed to get in with no help given as there’s no one around to help you. The bed is comfy however the sheets make you very itchy as well as the mosquitoes that fly around the rooms. The shower had dirt around the bottom and was also broken. The layout of the hotel is weird and difficult to find your room and our room was in the lounge part meaning we could hear other people talking, making noise ect which was not pleasant. A bonus of the hotel was it had a nice view and was quite spacious. would definitely be back at venice as it’s a lovely place however would stay somewhere nicer.

WARNINGTHEY ARE PIECE OF SCAM!1. The property is dirty, dusty, Ugly, damaged, you will breath dust, you wont sleep, you will be crying, you will not enjoy Venice, because the owner is here to scam you, and have a laugh at you. 2. Its nothing like on the pictures. Please do not make yourself a fool. Please notice, all pictures are made on kind of dark shade, just because you wont see the DIRTY DETAILS! VERY DIRTY PROPERTY! 3. This is not a hotel. There is nobody who will help you, there is nobody to answer to your Messages. 4. They will play you with thr code for the room. You will feel like you are in melicious game. No joke. Listen what i am saying. While looking for the door to you room, you will Also have a feelings, that you are watched! Mark my words. 5. Please read all negative reviews, becasue the good ones are paid. 6. DO NOT IGNORE MY REVIEW, OTHERWISE YOU WILL REGRET LIKE CRAZY.

Location is good. The rest is terrible. On entrance like you get in some bunker. Nobody there to check in. It took 2 hours to get into the room. It's not what you see on the pictures. Extremely dirty, out dated, mold, water barely running....... NO AIR CONDITIONING. Did not sleep a minute all night. Try to call customer service - no respondNext day we run away to another hotel. Real nightmare. Even if they let you stay for free - do not spoil your vacations.

Don’t waste your money

Filthy, outdated, stains on the wall, dusty windows and floors. The front door only opened half way due to the floor swelling, then the door wouldn’t close unless you slam it several times. Do not recommend. Walls are so thin we could hear a couple having sex while we were walking through the hall. Decor was ugly and old, the chair in the main area only had 3 legs and was being held up by books. Did I mention it was filthy?

Terrible check in experience. There is not an attendant . Cameras hidden everywhere. Found two. Your room doesn’t have a lock. Went out to dinner when we came back, the hotel door was locked and nobody responded to the door bell. We ended up sleeping on a couple of benches in front of the hotel till doors opened up at 7 am. Grabbed our stuff and left
