Excellent choice, I’m so glad we stayed here!

This hotel was perfect! I wanted a hotel on the main land so we didn’t have to take a water taxi with luggage, and this fit the bill. We utilized the hotel shuttle, but you can easily take the public bus or a taxi from the airport to the hotel. To book the hotel shuttle, you either call, use the Hilton app, or stop at the front desk. I will say that my only issue with this hotel was that I used the app to book a 9:30 am shuttle to the airport on our last day. At 9 am I got a call asking where we were, and I said we were on the 9:30. The 9:30 was full so we had to go at 10 am. It worked out as we had plenty of time, but the front desk definitely made an error so just confirm your time.Otherwise, the front desk staff was very helpful with explaining how to get into the lagoon area of Venice and they can even sell bus and water taxi tickets. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, so we were able to take the bus back and forth which was perfect. There ARE pickpockets in the area so just use caution.The rooms were clean and we had breakfast one day which was good.We didn’t have a chance to use the pool, but we did stop by. It was beautiful and clean.Even with the shuttle confusion, I still loved this hotel. I would use it again if I ever went back to Venice, which I hope to do someday!

Location 8K from airport. Rooms are bright and comfortable. Restaurant opens at 7 pm for dinner and almost full in a few mins. Not enough wait staff to accommodate orders. We waited 90 mins for food to arrive after complaining to server and manager. Other diners around us who arrived later got their food before we did. Disorganized Ok lodging , terrible meal service

For starters the advertisement of breakfast was not true. You have to purchase the breakfast. Not included. They claim they have a shuttle to the airport or pick up from the train station. That is false advertising. I have 3 emails with the staff trying to arrange pickup from our arrival at the train station. They had no shuttle. I tried arranging an airport transfer they had no shuttle. The taxi from and to this site is 50 plus euros for any trip which is ludicrous since the train is less than two miles from the site and the airport almost 3 miles. They gouge that taxi fare. Also, there is a pedestrian bridge, only way to get across, since the road is blocked to foot traffic. The bridge elevator does not work, and the homeless people are using the bridge as a bathroom. It is a high graffiti and garbage surrounding area. The hotel is an oasis in the middle of the ghetto. The room was beautiful and clean but the vents for the AC smelled like mold. Made my sinuses hurt bad. The staff was nice and attentive. The restaurant on site was also nice.

The hotel staff, facilities, and food were excellent. They allowed us to check in early after arriving in the morning from the US. Ubers were easy to get into Venezia and I would definitely stay here again.

A convenient and practical choice for a short stay

I selected the Hilton Garden Inn Venice Mestre San Giuliano because I arrived late at Venice Airport and had an early train departing from Mestre station the following morning. For this purpose, the hotel was extremely convenient. I reached it easily by Uber from the airport, and the hotel arranged a taxi to the station the next morning, which arrived quickly.My room was clean, functional and sufficiently spacious for a short stay. Breakfast did not offer an enormous selection, but the choice was perfectly adequate and covered everything I needed before leaving.As my stay was very brief, I did not use the hotel’s other facilities. However, the outdoor pool looked surprisingly large and attractive, set within a pleasant garden area.For guests wishing to visit Venice, there appears to be a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, and I also noticed a tram stop nearby. I cannot comment on the connections in practice, as I did not use them.This is naturally not a destination hotel, but it delivered exactly what I expected at an appropriate price. It is a clean, comfortable and very practical option for a late airport arrival, an early train from Mestre or a short visit to Venice.
