  Good location right near the heart of Venice. Really nice staff and a solid breakfast for the price. Room was pretty nice, good AC and we got a terrace. The bathroom was good other than the shower which was detachable but just wouldn’t stay on the wall, pretty disappointing. Also not a lot of place to put toiletries. A little annoying that the bells are so loud and rings for 10 minutes every hour in the morning. Solid place.

  Avoid this hotel! Unprofessional staff and broken promises.?We just checked out of Hotel Agli Artisti as a family with 2 young children, and the room they gave us was absolutely unacceptable for €162 a night.?Before our arrival, they promised us there would be no problem with providing hot water for the kids. However, the night receptionist made a huge problem out of it, argued with us, and questioned why we needed hot water.?They also promised that the breakfast we paid for would be packed and ready for us as "breakfast boxes" when we checked out. In the morning, they completely ignored us, didn't even look at our faces, and we had to leave without the breakfast we paid for.?The room itself was a disaster: a wardrobe that doesn’t open, stuck windows, no drinking glasses, a tiny table with only 2 chairs for 4 people, and a paper-thin sheet to sleep under in the cold.?They do not keep their promises and treat paying guests with children with zero respect. Do not book this place!

  The area is a good location and the hotel is safe. However, my room had mold all over the walls of the shower and various bugs were constantly flying around my room. They had not cleaned dead bugs off the wall — I’m guessing dead bugs that the people staying here before me dealt with. They are very strict on having a designated breakfast time, and the staff got mad at my friend for coming about 30 minutes “late,” despite tables being open. The front desk is not very friendly, welcoming, or accommodating. They did not even pretend to look into an early check in or late check out. The place to leave your luggage is unattended. The beds are hard and only include one sheet and two flat, hard pillows. I had to ask the front desk for a blanket to put on top of the sheet and they reluctantly provided one that had stains on it. They have a hair dryer, but it looks disgusting. The AC fan turns on but I could not accurately adjust the temperature. This place is okay to stay in, and I don’t know how it compares to nearby hotels. However, if I return to Venice, I will be looking into different hotels to stay.

  verall, the hotel was acceptable. We did not plan on being in the room much, so it was perfect for somewhere to put your head down at night.That said, the pillows were hard, the bed was not comfortable, and we woke up with bites every morning. The bathroom was not attached to the room; we had to walk down a corridor to find it. The bathroom was in extreme disrepair, with mould, limescale build-up, and damage throughout. You could not have a shower without soaking the floor due to the poorly placed shower screen. Hot water was minimal, often running out halfway through a shower.The breakfast was satisfactory, as it was included in our room price. However, I would not pay for it separately if given the option.The general location of the hotel was ideal. It was centrally located, with loads to do locally and lots of places to eat and enjoy right on your doorstep.The staff were all friendly and somewhat helpful. No issues there.Overall, if you're looking for a centrally located hotel, have low expectations, and enjoy cold showers, then this is the place for you.
