  I have actually stayed at this hotel twice--two years in a row. It is nothing fancy, and that is why it is perfect. It is clean and comfortable. I really appreciate the family room with three beds. It was perfect for me, my husband and my teen and tween. What is so great about this place is the location--if you come from the airport or the train, you don't have to take a water taxi deep into the city and deal with that and your luggage. It is not far to pull basic wheeled luggage. We used Venice as a sort of stopover before driving to the Dolomites. We liked getting into town, dropping off our bags, and then exploring Venice on foot and getting lost in the alleyways. You could also take the Vaporetti easily from there. The breakfast is really quite good and plentiful. Many delicious treats. There are staff members making cappuccino and espresso to order. I find that the price is a good value for the location and ease. A lot of people who are trying to save money stay outside of Venice proper--but then you miss the magic of the city without the cruise ships and day trippers. If you are on a budget--THIS is the place to stay. This is no frills, but clean. The staff is direct and helpful. When we had to miss breakfast the second year, they packed us a to-go breakfast and had it ready for us at 5:00 am when we had to leave to catch our flight. Such pragmatic hospitality.

  Cannot believe this hotel has been given a 3* rating, it must rate as one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in! The room to accommodate 3 was awful, too small, dingy & in need of total refurbishment. Dirty wardrobe, shocking electrics, TV not working, windows would not stay open (smell of room quite unpleasant) & a small dirty fridge!Just thankful I was only spending one night here, any longer would have been totally unbearable, certainly would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!Quite honestly I cannot think of anything good to say about this place.

  Disgusting welcoming from staff aviod this hotel they was horrible to my wife and myself no respect for there guests at all if you want a wonderful holiday then aviod this hotel
