  Great, quiet, location in a very nice neighbourhood

  We stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel on the edge of the Jewish quarter and within easy walking distance to the train station as well as an easy 30min walk to Piazza San Marco. The canal at which the hotel is located looks very nice and it is not as busy and crowded as many other canals in Venice. As we were in Venice mainly for the Biennale, we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel itself, but the time we spent there was very pleasant and comfortable.We had a nice, spacious, double room on the first floor without canal view but we didn't really miss that. Also the bathroom was well equipped and spacious and nicely decorated, just like the room itself, in a traditional style. The bed was pretty comfortable. All the windows could be opened but there was also airco, which was working well and pretty quiet. There was just a small TV, but we didn't use that. We sure did enjoy the coffee and tea facilities in the room.The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are several good breakfast cafes in the area. Check-in and -out for the hotel is actually in another hotel along the same canal, closer to the street from/to the train station.One of the best things about this hotel was the staff, which were all very friendly, professional and helpful. This applies to reception as well as housekeeping. We also much appreciated the early check-in.We would definitely consider staying here again when next in Venice.

  Great hotel for a base easy to get to on the water taxi from the airport and also close to the train station. The staff are all really helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean. There is a little cafe next door and a few restaurants on the same street. Lots more a 10-15 walk away or you can get the water bus - we walked most places but got a day pass for the further away places/other island.The room was gorgeous, we had a canal view - only downside was the bed was very hard!

  Good: -Very nice and comfortable room. -Reception till 20:00, so make sure you have a pass. -Friendly personnel and great local to delicious treats.-Very quiet hotel.-2 min from public transport.Bad: -Was not a comfy pillow. -Check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00. Uncomfortable time for me ;) Need to walk with luggage around if you come early morning.

  The room is spacious with big windows. The view from the window extremely beautiful. You can see the canal and in front of the hotel has many restaurants . There is also taxi boat in front the hotel. The most important is the service is very friendly and nice .

  A really nice hotel, in a really good location to explore Venice. The hotel is about three minutes off of the main tourist route around Venice, so benefits from being close, without being noisy or busy outside. Really beneficially that it is close to the train station and taxi drop off points, so easily walkable with luggage.Really nice character to the building, with good decor in the rooms in keeping with the classic style. The chap behind the reception desk was really helpful.The room was slightly small, but to be expected in an older building. No breakfast on offer, but didn't really concern us.
