About Hotel Ca' Zusto VeniceAbout Hotel Ca' Zusto Venice

Location

A stay in this historical hotel offers guests the perfect opportunity to experience the lagoon city. Venice has a rather small surface area; therefore the best way to discover the alleys and historical sites is on foot. A tour of the Grand Canal - one of the most beautiful 'avenues' in the world - is a must see, besides a gondola ride along the romantic canals. Besides St. Mark's Square, art lovers must visit the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, with its rare beauty and extensive display of works by the Venetian painter Tintoretto, and the church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari frescoed by Tiziano. Guests will find restaurants, shops and links to the public transport network in the immediate vicinity, while Santa Lucia train station is 300 metres away and Piazzale Roma bus station is 500 metres away. Venice Lido is 2 km from the city hotel. Nearby airports include Marco Polo (15 km away) and S. Angelo (18 km away).

    Beautiful friendly hotel...5*

    rating29 Aug 2025

Beautiful quirky luxurious hotel less than 10 minutes from the train station and 5 mins from the nearest water vaporetto. 22 minutes to St Marks Square by foot, even less to the Riato Bridgemmmmit was the PERFECT location.Recently refurbished and delightful room. Breakfast was typical Italian. The desk staff were the best...really friendly and kemmwnet out of their way to make sure you were enjoying your stay in Venice.

Warm, welcoming traditional Venetian boutique hotel.

    rating02 Jul 2025

We recently stayed here as a family of four in their family suite. A queen and two single beds. The room was huge and very clean. The A/C worked like a charm because it was in the 90s while we were here so extremely hot. The staff was so welcoming and helpful and was able to provide advice about different restaurant and local sites. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the Santa Lucia train station and 10-15 minutes to the Rialto Bridge. A little bit tucked away from the madness of St Mark’s square, but that is what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to stay out of the hustle and bustle and in a quiet neighborhood.

    Convenient, clean with great service.

Hotel Cà Zusta was 8 mins walk from S. Lucia station & even closer to the Grand Canal. Staff were friendly, flexible & helpful. The rooms clean but cosy. We are travelling for 3 months & had trouble finding floor space for our one medium sized suitcase + 1 carry-on + 2 back packs. The bathroom was disappointing with no shelving & the seal on the bottom of the shower door letting water out onto the floor. Breakfast offered a good selection although we had limited choices. We would normally choose porridge, bircher muesli or good quality Granola - NOT Kellogs!

Wonderful Hotel, great location, would recommend

A real gem, very well finished hotel with excellent breakfast options. We enjoyed cooked eggs and fresh tomatoes. Meats and cheeses, always pleases :) Cereal, fruit, cakes and yogurts. Wonderful coffee and fantastic, attentive service. We enjoyed the Deluxe triple room which had a very comfy large bed, bigger than a Kingsize, and a sofa bed for our son. It was spotless and cleaned daily, with shower gel and hand soap provided. Free tea and coffee and kettle. The reception and staff were always friendly and so helpful, even letting us put keep our luggage there on our final day until it was time to catch our flight. Even though the fridge was broken when we arrived it was replaced as soon as we reported it. Could not ask for better customer service.Location was about 10-15 walk from the Rialto bridge, but the local square and shops were much more delightful to explore than the more touristy areas. There is a Coop supermarket 5 mins away, an ice cream shop and a fantastic bakery with awesome cakes.I cannot recommend enough.

An odd little hotel but it grows on you.

    rating14 Aug 2024

An odd little hotel in many ways but I grew to love it. Its buried in the Santa Croce region and is pretty hard to find. The room was clean and reasonably well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would guess that this hotel has been recently refurbished and it looks like they did a pretty good job of it. There is a very nice little piazza close by with several restaurants and a supermarket. I would stay here again if I ever went back to Venice.
