    A nice and quaint family-run hotel in a good location in Jesolo, close to the beach and the restaurants. Rooms are not luxurious or particularly large, but clean and comfortable, and the staff - the members of the family running it mostly it seems- are very friendly and helpful.

    **Disappointing Experience - Not Worth Four Stars**I write this review after sharing it with the hotel prior to publishing to allow them to comment or discuss ways to improve our stay. Nothing was fourth coming so here is my review of my experience …..Hotel Coppe (Lido di Jesolo) simply does not live up to the four-star rating I was expecting. To explain, on arrival the decor is quite dated and the checkin is not manned meaning a short wait but still contributes towards a list of below parr experiences.More concerning was the lack of attention to detail in our room. We found no towels on arrival, and a drawer had a used vape, stray hairs, and a make-up brush left behind from a previous guest. housekeeping is lacking.The breakfast was a letdown. Empty plates that were slow to be refilled or greeted with a less than warm “finito” at 9am when breakfast ends at 10am. I was moved from one table to another - I’m still unsure why due to the communication breakdown. I appreciate that my lack of Italian is not the hotels fault. The fruit on offer was cut into very small cubes that screamed of using up old fruit - it was already browning and looked far from fresh or appetising. The selection overall was very basic for a hotel that claims to be four stars. No scrambled eggs or bacon were on offer at all - only hard boiled eggs. I was also disappointed to find that the hotel does not provide an iron, making it difficult to prepare my outfit for dinner.The wifi simply did not work and when questioned the manager suggested he would reset it. There were just too many individual inconveniences to make our stay in any way luxurious or in-line with four stars. I feel ripped off.Prior to booking I specifically filtered my search for four-star properties because I expected a certain standard, but this hotel does not meet that expectation. They are charging four-star prices but, in reality, offer a service that feels more like three stars at best. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend. ---

    In itself a nice hotel in a great location close to the beach but with many problem areas. Very small rooms, with furnishings that were modern in the 70s. With an almost medieval telephone and hairdryer. Of the three lights in the room, only one works and although the ceiling light was promised to be repaired on the first day, we were left in the dark until the end of our stay, despite repeated requests. (5 nights) On the positive side, both the room and the bathroom are very clean. The breakfast is typical of what is included as breakfast in most hotels, but the dinner was a bit disappointing, with very small portions and little taste. The pool is a big plus. Very clean and well maintained but the "hydrotherapy" type of whirlpool can only be turned on if you ask for coins at reception. Bicycles can be borrowed free of charge. All in all ok for a short stay.

    Rooms are very small and not fancy. The bathroom is very nice and spacious. It's complicated to request a wifi code. They give code for 3 days, which can only be used on 2 devices. The staff is not polite. The pool is ridiculously small.

    All facilites in the hotel are quality. The bathrooms are 5* and the bedrooms are beautifully clean with quality furniture and comfy beds. The position is ideal, 2 mins from the private section of the beach, not too busy but near many restaurants. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay and see you next year. 1st Class!!!
