There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, from which it takes only 10 minutes to reach the historical centre of Venice.     Forget the other reviews this hotel is perfect in all aspects Staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. Very tasty breakfast with loads of choice and super coffee. Rooms are clean and def not old! If you are coming to Venice come here it's lovely 😁

    So disappointed. There is no way that this is a 4 star hotel. Plastic cups, coffee and water only given complimentary for first night. The room was stark and basic and dated. Could be made nice, such a shame. Breakfast room was like a canteen, food poor. No bar facility in hotel. Reception staff had no time for you. Please if you want a nice break do not book this hotel. Convenient for the bus into Venice city is the only positive thing I can say about it

    Location from Venice is really accessible and that’s the only positive thing about this hotel otherwise it’s a terrible hotel. The room cleaner will never ever change your bed sheet, pillow covers etc. Even after reminders, nobody will fill up shower gel, and no staff member ever bothers to vacuum the floor or at least broom it. The service is terrible. Never ever rely on their cab service as they don’t even pick the hotel’s staff’s phone calls. It’s a terrible hotel. I will never ever use it again.

    It’s an adequate hotel but I wouldn’t stay again. I read that you could get a coffee machine in your room but was told no we don’t do that- so no facilities for that. I saw on their website that you could add late check out for €20 but then they said that was wrong and charged me €25 ! The room smells awful of stale water and we had to run the shower frequently to rid the smell - it got so bad one night that it woke us up - it made us heave as it was like bad sewage!!! The bus stop outside is good but we couldn’t find any where to eat nice food!! Pizza they use tinned mushrooms!!! The best meal we had here was from McDonalds and I truly dislike McDonalds so that should give you some idea!!

    I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Delfino. It's our second visit to Venice and this time we brought our 19 year old and 11 year old.son and daughter After reading some of the reviews I was pleasantly surprised. Staff on arrival were both helpful and friendly. It was too early for check in so left out luggage in a room in the lobby. We then took a walk to to centre of Mestre which has a lovely square and some nice cafes and restaurants. Proceeded to check in at 3pm and were more than happy with our room. A little hallway when you walk in and a bedroom to the right and one to the left. There was a TV and fridge in both rooms. All very clean and comfortable huge beds. Lots of space for the four of us. Hairdryer in bathroom. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were left. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. Plenty of shops around to pick up snacks. One being below the hotel. We bought 4 day passes at the tobacco shop across the street which we could use for buses and water taxis, very easy. The 4L bus stop is opposite the hotel and takes you in to Venice in no time. You can use the passes to hop around the other islands too. Burano is a must, beautiful. All in all a great stay, we had stayed in the hotel next door on our last visit 8 years ago but the Delfino is just as nice for a decent price.For us the hotel is just somewhere to stay, this is Venice there was far too much we wanted to see and do to actually spend that much time in our hotel room but I would recommend here. Thank you Delfino.
