    Just returned from a long weekend at Hotel Giudecca… What a wonderful hotel, so clean and spacious.. Nothing was too much for the staff who accommodated our requests on all sorts (to borrow bottle opener/ scissors, advice on trips) Hotel is perfect location for Venice, close enough to explore, but far enough away from the crowds.. Ten minute water vaporetti to St Paul’s Square from the closest stop.. The restaurants on the walkway were all amazing and great value for money! Amazing restful stay, thank you for everything and look forward to my return..

    Returned to this hotel as we love staying on Guidecca island.Room was a bit small and musty smell but once aired ok and comfortable.Good breakfast and only short walk to local restaurants and ferry.Would love to go back.     The hotel was exactly what we needed and can’t be faulted. Giudecca island is a great place to stay with a very short boat trip to the main island and lovely bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean and the breakfast was nice. It was very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Venice.     Guidecca is a small island just 8-10 minutes waterbus journey from St Mark's Square. The service to St Mark's Square is very frequent (every 20-15 minutes). . There is also a regular waterbus directly from the airport to Giudecca stopping just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Have tel Giydecca is a fantastic small hotel - not fancy but the rooms are comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel is located in a quiet side-street beside a canal and has a number of excellent restaurants only 2-3 minutes walk away with views across the lagoon to Venice. .The staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The continental breakfast includes a good selection of food.My wife and I stayed here for a week, visited Venice every day and would definitely visit this hotel on any return visit.
