Excellent small hotel in a great location

Guidecca is a small island just 8-10 minutes waterbus journey from St Mark's Square. The service to St Mark's Square is very frequent (every 20-15 minutes). . There is also a regular waterbus directly from the airport to Giudecca stopping just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Have tel Giydecca is a fantastic small hotel - not fancy but the rooms are comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel is located in a quiet side-street beside a canal and has a number of excellent restaurants only 2-3 minutes walk away with views across the lagoon to Venice. .The staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The continental breakfast includes a good selection of food.My wife and I stayed here for a week, visited Venice every day and would definitely visit this hotel on any return visit.

My wife and I were extremely happy with the hotel and the staff. Maurizio and Thomas did an exceptional job. The breakfast is sensational. I highly recommend staying here!

Recommended by a friend living in the neighborhood, it was a delightful experience. Booking was easy, WiFi excellent, nicely appointed rooms, pleasant, quiet, not fancy. Everyone on the staff was helpful, especially Simonetta in the breakfast room, and Benedetta at the front desk.Close to the Palanca vaporetto stop, the possibilities of visiting around the islands in the lagoon are endless, then back to the seclusion and solitude of the hotel.I was escaping Siena to my favorite city in the world, and Giudecca and the hotel were an antidote to dusty hill towns. Such a pleasure, I hope to return.

I am writing this review on my last evening staying in this lovely welcoming snall hotel . From beginning to end, this has met and exceeded my expectations, and being very reasonably priced it is definitely a yes to revisit, and I recommend this hotel to everyone .Staff were very informative and could answer any queries .WiFi was excellent, which is always a bonus at no extra charge .Breakfast was relaxing and plentiful, staff one lady on duty was very communicative and smiley nothing was too much trouble .A great stay Thank you

We got a nice clean room of adequate size, good double bed, the air conditioning worked well. Pleasant staff. Good continental breakfast that has gluten free options. Off the beaten path - nice quiet neighbourhood without a press of tourists
