    Very welcoming staff. Great location for restaurants, gondolas, St Marks Square and water buses- stress free water bus straight to and from airport from pier appx 2 mins walk from hotel. Comfortable, Venetian style rooms with lovely jacuzzi bath.

    Fantastic stay here, great location for all attractions and transfer points.View from our rooms was over the bay which is absolutely beautiful.Thanks to all the Staff who are very friendly, attentive and advised on some great restaurants to try and things to do. Special thanks to Jorden (Front Desk) and Keisha (Evening Bar ) your recommendations were fantastic.

    Excellent hotel in a fabulous location near all attractions and plenty of nearby restaurants reasonable priced.All staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms traditional and ethnic. Breakfast or a late drink afternoon on the roof terrace is a must, taking in all the serene. Thank you for looking after us and making our hoilday special

    Positives: Traditional Venetian hotel, very conveniently situated. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean (but a little small) and well serviced, bath robes and slippers provided. Negatives: the electrical point for charging devices would not take European plug converters (Google it!). Only the hairdryer socket in bathroom could be used with a current European plug adapter - which was inconvenient. No air conditioning. Our room overlooked the canal so we didn’t open the window due to there being mosquitoes. Reception kindly provided us with a plugin insect repellent since our device would not fit Italian socket. Room was noisy at night due to canal traffic etcBreakfast - very little choice for gluten intolerant guests. Overall: would stay there again but I would request a room in another part of the hotel and hope for a better choice at breakfast!     Gem of a Hotel

    Locando Vivaldi is an amazing quaint little hotel, beautifully decorated, we felt like we’d stepped back in time. It’s ideally located on the waterfront in close proximity to St Mark’s Square. Staff were always cheerful and helpful. Cleanliness top marks. The only negative was that the air conditioner isn’t turned on until June and as the bedroom was stifling hot I opened the windows and was bitten by mosquitoes 20 times on our last night, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this gem of a hotel but I would recommend that the hotel change their policy regarding the air conditioner and I’d make sure to bring mosquito repellents regardless.
