Venice is special and so is the Hotel Locanda Vivaldi. I can’t say enough about the staff - so friendly, helpful and professional. Our corner room was beautiful, with canal views from every window. Perfect location, with the vaporetta steps away, and very close to major attractions and good restaurants. We will be back!

Relaxing stay at the Locanda Vivaldi

The location of the Locanda Vivaldi is excellent, a short walk to St Marks, close to excellent restaurants and bars and close to the Vaporetto stops. The hotel also has a private dock for water taxis - ideal when getting to and from the airport.Our room 105, was a good size, traditionally decorated, very comfortable and very clean. The view was amazing and we loved waking up to the hustle and bustle of the quayside. It was a little noisy, so take earplugs - the view is worth it.The breafast terrace / bar has amazing views over St Mark's Basin. We took time to relax and watch boats whilst breafasting and having a drink in the evening.The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We didnt have the right type of charger, so they found one for us to use whilst we stayed.There is no lunch/evening restaurant but with so much choice nearby, its a good way to explore the canals and streets nearby to find some hidden gems. We would definitely recommend a stay here, we had a great time.

Great location to take in the view

Location is right beside the Grand Canal and is ideally located to St Marks Sq. Hotel is historic with the breakfast room up on the roof to enjoy the stunning views. Roof area is also the bar in the evenings to watch the sunset and lights of Venice. Terrific stay and thanks to the friendly staff for making a memorable stay

The hotel staff was professional and courteous. Extremely helpful in giving us information to make informed decisions during our staff. The hotel was advantageous located to make our sightseeing easy. We appreciated the fact that the water taxi was able to deliver us to and pick us up at the hotel and we didn't have to "lug" our bags over the cobblestone streets. We definitely recommend Hotel Locanda Vivaldi.
