Disappointing - in need of urgent refurmishment

    rating25 Feb 2026

The good part :Excellent location - central and facing the canal and ferry stop next door.Great canal view from Deluxe roomThe let down:When I was here 8 years ago the hotel had its quiet charm as a classic hotel however upon this visit the hotel showed serious signs of lack of investment and maintenance:Broken mirror in roomMultiple skirt boards partly parted from the wallSofa cover almost worn throughAll furniture full of dents loss of varnish Smelly room Many 220 v outlets don’t work and the only available broken and danger to childrenBathroom fitting so worn that more brass than chrome left Only one staff after 18.00 and no one to serve in bar Though fully aware it is a protected building no justification for may of above pointsShame as the hotel has so much potential and the staff is very kind and attentive but ended as a disappointing stay for what should have been an impressive and romantic weekend.

    Not the most memorable stay

    rating15 Oct 2025

Mixed feelings about this hotel so let's start with the the pros/cons:Pros:-located exactly at Ca d'Oro station making arrival/departure convenient by vaporetto/taxi-walking distance to all of Venice attractions (20 min)-proximity to many restaurants, bars-hotel exterior/interior and rooms in Venetian style-nice interior garden and beautiful balcony of the 1st floor overlooking the Grand CanalCons:-value for a 4 star hotel is not there-rooms in need of a immediate refurbishment (stayed in room 107)-no control of AC in the room, just from reception-no basic amenities in the room such as: drinking water, kettle, coffee machine, slippers, robe, etcI would think twice before booking as the hotel does not offer the value of 4 star

Charming hotel in the heart of Venice

    rating18 Jul 2025

We stayed in the Pesaro Palace for 5 nights and had a wonderful time there. The location is excellent: right on the Grand Canal and just one minute from all shops, restaurants, and a good supermarket. Plus, the vaporetto stop is right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to get to the hotel from everywhere without any problems. We mostly walked because it’s a 10-20 minute beautiful walk to all the famous spots. The hotel is charming and spotless. We had two small balconies overlooking the Grand Canal, and our room was spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed watching Venice’s life in front of us.The hotel features a very inviting courtyard, where we enjoyed our morning coffees and evening drinks. The breakfast was sufficient, and the breakfast room was nice and never crowded. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone. We did feel like we were going home in the evening.

    Fabulous stay with my child

    rating03 Jul 2025

I had a wonderful experience at Pesaro Palace with my 9 year old in June. A warm and friendly welcome by the younger man. He explained where we can store our luggage safely until our room was ready, explained the air conditioning situation being controlled from reception (which we knew from reading other reviews) and helped me when I explained my luggage had been lost at the airport. The breakfast was as expected with the regular Italian varieties, but the pancakes were a hit with my daughter. The room was clean, quiet and food always fresh. Our room was fantastic and just as described. There was one lamp that the cord needed repairing, so I didn’t use that lamp. We had a view of the courtyard and we could see the canal when looking out the window. The vaporetto stop is so close and convenient, we used it a lot.We had a taxi to leave and we as organised quickly and easily by the reception.I had hesitations to stay here after I booked and read some negative reviews, but I’m so glad I didn’t change my mind. I’d recommend you his hotel to others without a doubt!

Great central hotel with true Italian glamour

    rating20 Jun 2025

Great central location with amazing art and glass chandelier. We had the best view of the Grand Canal (which is an upgrade but well worth it) and we felt like we had an authentic view of Venice right in the heart of things. Breakfast was included and that meant an easy start. It was about 10 min to Rialto Bridge and 20 minute walk to San Marco, so it was pretty easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.
