Disappointing stay
30 Sept 2026
I must say I left the hotel feeling disappointed. We stayed there for two nights. The room was quite small and very outdated. The mattresses were terrible and the sheets were itchy. The pillows were also terrible. The towels were rough, and there were no hand towels provided. There was only a single electrical outlet in the entire room, which was incredibly strange and inconvenient. It was located solely on one side of the bed and quite far from it. Additionally, there was no coffee maker, kettle, or complimentary water bottles provided. The breakfast was okay overall with a good variety of options. The closeness to the train station is very convenient.Honestly, I'm not sure how this could be considered a 4-star hotel.

Plaza dissapointed

Our room was clean and spacious. Decor is very dated and needs modernising. Our bathroom however was very dissapointing. Someone had dyed their hair and it was splashed up the tiles. There were hairs in the bath so it hadn't been cleaned. The grout in the yellow floor tiles were dirty and mould around the bath seal. The toilet dripped all night too. When we complained it was 10pm at night. They did clean bath immediately. Very poor water pressure and you can't reach the shower to switch on without climbing into the bath as the shower screen is fixed and you can't reach around. The temperature fluctuate from very hot to cold. It's an ideal location to lay your head down as right opposite the train station but they are clearly using their name and position for their business but very mediocre rooms.

Great location for visiting Venice
11 Sept 2026
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Plaza Venice. The hotel is in a great location, directly opposite the train station, with some nice places to eat and drink nearby. It’s also only one stop on the train into Venice, which made getting into the city really easy and convenient. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

Great hotel let us check in early - room clean - location great opposite station and only 2 stops into Venice. Nice foyer and great breakfast. Staff very friendly. Nice little coffee shops/restaurants nearby and Aperol spritz €5 in little cafe to the left.
