    Very welcoming and attentive staff. The room was clean and had all required amenities. The hotel is situated just 5 minutes from the Piazza San Marco. Considering the location, it was a very good standard für a reasonable price.

    I would give this hotel a 4 or even 5 star review if it weren’t for the heat and noise…Two quick negatives - no AC, leads to opening the windows and lots of noise from the square.That aside, the hotel is all about location and value, both of which are amazing.Just a quick walk to most of the big attractions, quick to get from San Zaccaria water taxi from the airport and 10mins up to Rialto Bridge.The staff were really helpful, check in easy and the breakfast pretty decent for a two star.Bed was big, room was decent and the shower warm & powerful.Yes the square below is noisy late at night and early in the morning but also gives you loads of options for food and drink on your doorstep.Overall, it’s a great choice of location and value are your priority… you can sleep when you get home. 😀

    Be aware, if you book a single room (with a bed for one person) it might be positioned right near the air conditioning installation and during the night the noise might bother you very much, it is like an engine working all the time, day and night. Maybe double rooms don’t have this problem, I don’t know, but I am working in the tourism field for more than 15 years and I travelled a lot (at hotels with different quality standards) but I never ever encountered this problem at any hotel.The location is good, the amenities are basic so, if you find a good price, the hotel provides 2 stars quality services - as advertised; if it is expensive, don’t bother booking at this hotel. I travelled with some friends which were accommodated at Casa Verardo (one minute distance and with just 50 euro more than this hotel for 3 nights, so additionally around 15 euro/night) and their services are far above this Rio hotel.

    Very nice hotel in the heart of Venice,in walking distance to boat stations to/from train station and the airport. Walking distance to main attractions.We were in hotel Annex, one min. from the main building in a back alley , which were very nice , quiet and safe and very secure , and renovated. It does not have lift though. Very clean and modern room.Breakfast was fair. Staff were very helpful and kind.Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.We were lucky to find this hotel at last minute, we will definitely stay again in this hotel.

    What an amazing Hotel! 2 minute walk to St Marks Square, Doges Palace etc. and 2 mins from the water bus stop.Modern, clean, and friendly welcoming staff. The breakfast was just right, and served with excellent coffee!!I would definitely stay here on my next visit!
