    Absolutely shocking hotel. Advertised as a 4 star hotel at best a 2 star. I could write a list of things wrong. Suffice to stay we checked out early and went to another hotel. Offered a room change but no way was I going to waste another night in this absolute dump. DO NOT STAY HERE

    Mouldy rooms, uncomfortable beds with stone hard pillows, unfriendly staff, no cleaning, grouty showers and mediocre breakfast … only the location ius worth two points.

    This hotel is not what you expect from the photos. I turned up thinking I would experience a lovely 4 star hotel instead it looked like a half way house or hostel. The flooring was lifting graffiti on the walls. Sockets crackers and just not clean. The room was a box and is not what is being advertised everything is worn through. We had to book another hotel as after a room change it was no better.

    Worst hotel ever stayed in. Think Fawlty Towers in Venice. Initially ignored at check in then allocated our very inferior superior room we paid for. Bed hard as rock, pillows similar, shower room included curtain round shower, air con not available til May, 2 coat hangers - requested more , got 2 more! 2 drawers filled with blankets, no dressing table, and then as if it couldn’t get worse no hot water first night so couldn’t even have a shower and then the towel had a hole in it! Requested a room change, allocated another superior room. This overlooked canal but area around bed so narrow had to shimmy around it as there was a hidden boxed in area under window restricting movement. Bed was actually a single divan with a metal framed pull out bed next to it, no headboard, and a TV at end of bed on a fabric covered box that trying to pass in night for bathroom trio was virtually impossible. Tiny room that was clearly a single as single headboard by door with an equally awful similar shower room with another shower curtain. Breakfast included congealed powdered egg, twice ran out of toasting bread and croissants. In contrast our friends basic room had 3 beds and a decent modern shower room. As my third stay in Venice I’m aware the minimum requirement is 4 star and decor will be different to other areas but this was another level of a dump. This could only score 1 star purely for its location. This hotel misrepresents its accommodation . We booked superior which was anything but and I’d urge anyone to avoid at all costs after all there’s plenty of choice.

    THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU

    This hotel is atrocious it is by no means a 4 star hotel our family has trauma remembering this hotel The staff are anything but happy to help they come off as snobbish and quite frankly don’t want to do their job I would say a prison cell was better then our room we stayed on the top floor and had to walk up treacherous stairs to make it to our room… our room was so small we couldn’t even unpack our suitcase.. the paint was pealing there was mold on the walls our bathroom was outright a joke.. everything was outdated They refused to clean our rooms by 5pm we came home and had to plead the staff to clean the rooms this is unacceptable for the price we paid..Only good thing is location.. don stay here book somewhere else
