This elegant hotel is situated in Mestre just 6 km from the historical centre of Venice. Both the town centre and the train station are 800 m away. Links to the public transport network, a range of shops, bars, and restaurants are all located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. It is approximately 8 km to Marco Polo airport and some 50 km to Treviso airport.

Facility

10 single rooms and 42 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Rooms are basic and small, but at the price you can’t complain. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes to the train station and the tram line is about a 2-3 minute walk which takes you to Venice. The reception staff are very helpful with directions and booking tram/ferry tickets which can be done at the hotel.

    Our hotel room had 2 twin beds and a large window. It wasn’t exactly the most comfortable for air flow. Each bed had a thin pillow.The wifi password was provided to us on our keycard and was very strong in our room. The breakfast was lacking. There weren’t a lot of options for vegetarians. The croissants and fruit tasted pre-packaged. However, the location was fine for our guided tour bus.

    This hotel scammed me, worst expérience in a hôtel ever.

    The service was terrible, and we got scammed by this hotel. They gave our booked and paid-for room to someone else, so when we arrived, there were no rooms left. They sent us to another hotel, and we ended up paying twice for one night. On top of that, we received no refund from the hotel for the room we originally paid for. The receptionist was unclear about the refund, made false promises, and lied to us. It was a total scam, and I’m still shocked.

    Hotel San Guiliano is a good place to stay at Mestre. It lacks character,the rooms are small, they don’t change sheets ( We stayed for a week) and there is no shampoo at the bathroom ,just bath foam. Breakfast is very good and the staff is very friendly. Would I stay there again? No, with some extra money you find a nice place in Venice and you avoid the hassle going back and forth everyday.

    My jewellery was stolen from my room! I would not recommend this hotel at all. I accidentally forgot my earrings were in my makeup bag that I left out by the sink when I left for the day with my tour group. (Normally I put that stuff away, but unfortunately for me I forgot) When I came back I realized my bag was moved and the earrings were missing. I complained to the front desk, but there was no manager in when I was checking out…needless to say they were not returned to me…The hotel looks decent online but it was very dirty, the carpet in the hallways. My mother wiped up the water on the floor in her room with one of the towels after showering, and the towel was black with dirt. Definitely hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. Unfortunately for me, this is a bad memory on an otherwise beautiful trip to Venice.
